Tutu..how are you doing, and Kayak, and ALW and some other names that I can't recall right now.

I was able to put a few clothes away this am that have needed putting away since 2 or 3 weeks ago...still more to go.

Able to walk into grocery store and get in elec cart..shopped about 10 min then out of there.

Took out trash via power chair.

Resting now then hoping to be able to do more with getting things off of the floor in order to make it more safe

Feeling more human today.

OMG! Was so busy here at my part time job.

Wednesday-25 minutes on the stair climber, leg lifts, arm/ab workout.

No exercise from Saturday to Tuesday.

Will have to do some yardwork Saturday. The hubs is off from work this week and he needs supervision to trim tree limbs, etc.

I'm so tired!

Thanks Kam for starting this week's thread!

kam-thx for the chuckle...a chuckle is good

i only have a minute-you guys are for sure my strongest support

things are better. i basically got thrown out of court on a technicality...happens every time with me...but i am happy cuz the last 10 days have been hell...emotionally and mentally/cognitively and physically cuz i am just not taking basic care of my self cuz of law stuff

so-its over and i have taken 2 days to re-group and may take more. the last 2 days i have been at the beach and it has seemed like i was in heaven. unbelievably beautiful i took a few pics and if tutu can post them maybe you will see where i was...

i also walked 15-20 min the first day and 30 min today...it is always so much easier for me to walk on low tide sand than any thing else...i still can only do the elliptical 5 -7 min...but i walsked enough to make a difference. also-both days i woke with sinus headaches from the mold that was awful over the weekend with the rain...and breathing the air by the waves cleared me out with no meds.

i feel so bad for merry-did you read her thread...i started to reply and the computer is still not right so i lost it. i have to cll metrocast...but i really need to deal with getting heat first and decent food and my supps

i hope you all have a good week...it may get wet again around here monday from the hurricane. i just hope i cn get back to the mts to vote. then i will just be greatful for every beach day i get and hunker down for winter.

in the last week my oldest son helped me decide to drop the lawsuit/ my daughter called and talekd for an hour. and my baby boy called...i havent heard from him in 3 months and when i heard his voice i just kept crying. hes ok. doing good. making money in a construction thing and finishing up his doctorate. his wife is almost thru an advanced degree in nursing. they have been working so hard for so long.

so...im at a crossroads and not sure what really lies ahead but for now i need to get heat and i need to breath salt air and walk on the beach and that is what i will do. take care. hope i can soon be online with no problems and able to spend more time.

Thursday-25 minutes on the stair climber, leg lifts, arm/ab workout and took Rocky around the back of the property.

So far no typing all day thank God.

Kayak-Sure am hoping that things get straigtened out for you soon. The beach sounds wonderful.

Kam-Still working on being brave today. Working on a script for an MC position that I'm hoping to get out of. [Wink] So, if I can go through with it on Nov. 3, that's really out of my comfort zone. I'm not very good at public speaking.

See you all tomorrow!

ALW...you can always run if it isn't going well. HA!

I really dislike public speaking also.

I am good for about 3 min. [Smile]

Frustrated today because I have things on my mind that I would like to do but body and brain are not co operating.

I was able to drive Rosie out to the forest area and she had a longer run than usual as I drove.

No panting afterwards either. So glad it is cooling down now and I was able to get a big part of her fur coat clipped.

Still more to do when brain and body allow on the clipping of her coat.

I was able to switch the curtain rods on the bottom half of the curtains. I had switched curtains from the small bedroom/den like room to the front room adn visa versa.

I think it would work out if I had a different rod in the small den area and if I had want it took to adjust the brackets....but for now..i am just trying to put things back like they were.

next is to do the valances.

I was finally able to open the pkg I got from a friend a week or so a go. She sent me her old cell phone.

So far it is charging. Then, I hope to read the directions and see if there is service in this area.

Also find out what that funny thing she sent is ...I think perhaps for wi fi??

and I need to practice using the keyboard to send text msg. I sure hope my brain works.

Still trying to find a way to use the phone that doens't do me in.

I also was able to open another package that a friend sent me. it was greens. I was able to make a glass of greens.

Trying cucumin (sp?) also to help with the pain in the body.

I guess that is about it. I felt like I had done more this am.

Ah yes. Tried to open Rosie's dog food bag and put some of it in the container..I goofed up adn got a different flavor...I can't recall if this is the flavor she doesn't eat or not..she will eat it...it just has to sit for a while.

Poured some of it into the cat container at first. Brain is being more weird this am than its usual weirdness.

Lookign forward to a morning where I wake up clear headed adn the body is not in so much pain.

So, I'll find out if the cat will eat the dog food..size wise the pellets look the same..flavor wise they will be different.

Ringing in the ears is louder than usual today too. Even when I was in the forest area this am.

Usually I get a break out there.

So, today looks like one of those make sure I hydrate days and eat and take meds and supps...hope there is a good movie on

Doing my Friday dance!!! [Big Grin]

Made it through my 25 minutes on the stair climber, leg lifts and arm/ab workout.

Much yardwork is looming ahead for tomorrow!

Me and the hubs plan on getting an early start on that and he might cook out some chicken later.

Depends if we can move around after we're done! [lol]

Kam-Running sounds like a great idea! I'm typing out everything I'm going to say and will try to practice before hand, but will wear running shoes just in case. [Wink]

Hope everyone has a great weekend and will try to check in later.

Leaving for Arizona this weekend to compete in the US Skydiving Nationals. This means a lot to me because when I was super sick in 2010, it was my goal to get healthy enough to compete that year and we did very well.

Anyway, look for "Motley Crew" in the CF (Canopy Formation) links later in the week. Competition starts Tuesday, October 30th.

EDITED TO ADD: The event is held at Skydive Arizona in Eloy. I am sure it will be on the news.

Hubby survived his IV at the doctor's office yesterday. When he feels bad, he's soon done for and sitting there so long for an IV nearly does him in.

He did good for him! His bp is getting right into the normal range even while he still feels so yucky!

Today he had an hour long cranial therapy session at home with a team of therapists.

I had a good morning before 9 am today. My attitude always improves if I am able to do a little bit.

Able to be at grocery store for about 10 min in elec cart, drove out the dirt road for ? miles and walked a loop for 5 min.

Able to make meatloaf while on my feet and a small pitcher of the lemon drink that helps me stay hydrated.

I had to stay down the rest of the day but thankful for what I was able to do this am.

skydiving...that is something i do not want to do...but hope you have a good time and are safe. my risk taking activities now are walking far enough away from a wall or rock or funiture that i might fall b4 i have something to grab on to.

this new computer is making me stretch my fingers...it hurts...i guess i lost range with my notebook.

i have no idea why i am on line...it makes not sense why sometimes i can get on and sometimes not.

i think i remember tutu was going on a trip =someone was very sick. i guess thats why shes not here.

i replyed just to see if it would work. i dont get it. i have one bar. sometimes with 3 bars i cant get on.

anyway. yesterday morning i got a really good phone call and one problem was solved...but i cant tell you what it was but it was good news.

then all yesterday and today i worked at sorting the last 20 totes so they will be out of the carport b4 the hurricane. i dont have any huge trees above me but i do have many branches that could be a problem. and i really wanted to get as much stuff picked up as possible if wwe do get the worst case senario. right now it looks like it will hit my son in nj worse than here.

so i feel pretty good about getting that work done. and at night i spent some time in the yucky bedrooms cleaning then a little so i can store some totes in there. another risk...getting stuff moldy...but i hope if the totes are closed tight they will be ok.

i guess i better take advantage of being online and order my supps. hope to be back soon. take care all.

Good to hear you got some uplifting news Kayak. You needed that.

Lots of other good reports too...you are getting there.

Did you get your supps ordered?

Yes. tutu is traveling to Texas.

I don't recall who was sick but teflon brain.

I have been thinking about the skydiving thing and if we could do it.

I think the free falling would not be a problem.
For me, it would be my brain working well enough to take in the info for training adn the landing.

And wondering if my brain would work well enough to pull the shoot when I was in the air and under stress!

I was able to be in the forest for a little bit on my feet this am.

There was a women laying down in the forest. I asked a fellow hiker what was going on.

She said the women had alz, lived down the street (it is 6/10ths of a mile before you get to the edge of where the houses start, had markings on her like she had been beat up or attacked

But, my thinking is she may have just fell as she was at the bottom of a slippery hill which I most likely would have slipped and fell if I tried to go down it

She was lucky someone found her. The fellow hiker said she had a light weight short sleeve top on and she thought she was going into shock from being exposed to the elements.

it was very cold out this am.

But, people either had blankets in their car or someohow got blankets for her.

On my way out the ambulance was there. I doublt I would have seen her if I had been the first person to pass by her.

But, Rosie may have run over to check things out.

Able to drive the 3 miles to the forest this am and be on my feet the 5 min, rest on the rock and then 5 min back.

Brain fog and inflamation but i was there ...I think??

Tried to use the cell phone my friend gave to me.

Forgot my glasses so I couldn't see

Tried to send a text msg to her while I was sitting on the rock.

Noticed I had a msg from her...so I guess it worked...but wtg until brain fog is clear and i have my glasses on to see what she said.

Still struggling with the phone. Most of the time it doesn't come on and just stays dark or if i touch the screen to make a call or send a msg nothing happens??

Or I get a roaming msg

Able to pick up the poop from teh phantom pooper underneath my front room window....it is note worthy as it is rare I am able to do this.

I guess taht is about it. I thought i did somethign else but can't recall what it was now.

I hagte being this low functioning.

We're back. My MIL was on the edge of death last week. She has c.diff thanks to a hospital not giving her probiotics while treating her for a severe bladder infection.

Please pray for my MIL and FIL .. FIL is getting alzheimer's and he is SO stressed by all of this!

MIL went to a nursing home as of Monday. We got there Tues night and left Friday morning. Takes two days to travel. Arrived home last night.

I'm worn out and in pain. My feet were swollen all week. Now they are freezing .. and the swelling is down. Oh great.

I forgot to travel with a pillow for my butt, but I got one for the trip back. OUCH! We also had to take our little car. Much worse on the neck and back. My legs kept cramping up and it was so hard to sit.

Thankfully, we did not get killed in Houston on the freeway. Had a very close call! We had prayed for angels to surround our car and I would say it worked! [Smile]

kam...i dont want you to skydive.

guess that lady was lucky someone found her.

i spend another day cleaning up outside and also made a fish chowder and chili cuz i have a little one burner propane stove so i can warm them up. i heard when the power goes off around here this neighborhood is last to get it back.

i also mowed the back yard...well...mulched the leaves-it was hardr than mowing cuz the bag filled up so fast andi had to empty. i took 2 one hr breaks but i am glad i got it done cuz with all the rain coming those leaves would nt dry out til spring.

and i even did a load of laundry...i had 2 but only did the imporant stuff...it still drying...it took me about 12 hrs to do one load cuz i can only let a little water out at a time

anyway-my son is in jersey...hope he is safe. he has to stay with his house to bail out the cellar when the power goes out and the sump pump doesnt work... hes only about 4 blocks from the ocean and i saw on tv tonihgt my 2nd son in rochester ny is gonna get the storm too...not the chicago one tho.

so-hope everyone is safe. this will go on for awhile up here. im supposed to get my internt fixed monday...guess thats today...between 2-5.

be safe everyone.

Hurray. Glad you will be getting the internet fixed....most likely just in time to have it go out due to the storms.

Hope not.

you have been able to do a lot kayak.

Chili and Clam Chowder sound yummy.

I have been watching the local paper on line to see if they have a story up yet about what happened with that lady.

She was lucky they found her...I am guessing the dog saw her. As she was down the hill so cars passing by most likely would not have seen her.

I was going to park about 4 car lengths from where she was that day. I doubt I would have seen her...but Rosie may have.

I had the forest to myself this am. At first I was kind of miffed when the trails got so popular.

Now, I am thankful for the people and miss them...just in case something happens when I am out and it is nice to see the usual suspects on the trail.

ew do skunk scent coming thru the windows this am.

I heard coyotes yelping and howling at 4:30 am when I first took Rosie out to toilet.

I took her to the field east of me. When I was coming in the door to the apartment I could hear the coyotes in the field to the west of me.

Glad we were going in doors at that point. I was in my power chair which didn't seem to concern the one coyote I ran into one day.
