Hope this pic works. If so, I will be back to give the photographer credit and explain where it was taken.

I went back to find this on FB and lost it. I think it was a picture at Denali. It is a picture of skiers carrying touches down the hill.

Thankfully, the photographer has his name on the pic.

Sounds like fun!

Pretty out of it right now.

But, I did get Rosie out to toilet in the field next door via my coat over my PJ's and the PC.

Then, able to put away some dishes and wash a few more...been wtg for awhile for health to be well enough to clean up in the ktichen a bit.

still more to do.

Able to put in two loads of laundry.

Coffee I spilled on sheets and mattress pad did nto come clean...so need to waash them all again...but too out of it now to redo.

The stain was allowed to sit for a couple of weeks before I was able to get the bedding in the wash due to health.

It was one of those mornings were I was trying to push myself thru things but done in now.

Had the thing where I get heated with movement and feel like tossing my cookies and also anger...but know it is all due to poor health so need to just veg.

I would really like to get in the car and just run away...but health and finances not up to it.

Resting now, then hoping I can get dressed and take Rosie out to the forest to run...if not...maybe tomorrow.

Out of laundry soap..hoping health allows me to get some soon.

Kind of concerned...I need to get down the hill the last week of this month to get the lift exchanged on the car.

The organization that is providing the lift needs to spend the money by the end of the year or I am out of luck.

I need to get food packed as it is an all day thing laying on the couch once I get there.

And I need to find someone to drive me down the hill that I feel safe with. Not sure what they will be doing all day or how.

Hoping to be able to contact the key lock company and get a duplicate key made for car and find a place on the car that is easy for me to get to and it doesn't disappear...same with hiding a key around the apartments some place for the apartment.

I have had two hide a keys both each the car and the apartment disappear.

Thanks Kam for starting this week's thread. Still not working out yet but am feeling less crazy on the Levaquin and Predisone.

I'm feeling better and have a whole heck of alot less inflammation not only sinus but everywhere.

Lot of pain in my shoulder, neck, upper back and sternum are almost gone.

4 or 5 years back when I tested my hormone levels everything was super low, including cortisol. That's why they put me on HGH, which I can't tolerate.

Wondering if I need extra cortisol? Will have to check it out.

Anyways, gang, I'll chat with you all tomorrow.

alw..good to hear you are beginning to feel more human.

I feel a bit more human this am too. Able to get the dishes in the sink to soak...but then had to lay back down.

Stayed in PJ's all yesterday. Hoping to get dressed today if able.

Able to hang up a few outfits in the closet yesterday and move the baskets of laundry to the front room. Now, I can walk in my bedroom.

dang. I thought I had done something. Got on the web to write about it.

All I can recall is that I took Rosie out to toilet in my PJ's and put the trash outside my door.

Ah yes. I combined all the grocery lists I had started...guessing that is why the brain went and the body is hurting so much and I need to rest now.

Also took the sheets and mattress pad down that were hanging up to dry in the house.

the caregiver is comign tomorrow. I have a stack of laundry for her to fold and put away.

Rosie also tore an empty dog treat box up. I was able to toss some of it but need to get one of those things that pick things up off of the floor again to help me.

So, hoping when the caregiver comes tomorrow she will vacuum up the small pieces.

I wonder if she ever walks into a clients home and is a grouch...like I am sometimes.

She always has a positive attitude. But, it must get old at times doing housework for others and then coming home and having your own housework to do.

Feeling kinda weird in the head today, around my eyebrows. Must be sinus issues.

Still have 2 days of Prednisone and on Levaquin til Friday. Wish me luck.

I would think prednisone would do the head stuff. I don't know how you are brave enough to take EITHER of those drugs. Hope you recover soon!!

Kayak is still at the ER. Please pray for her!

My day was "OK".. went to my last healing oils class. Sure was a great class!!

Spent $300 on our car window that won't go down and it's still not fixed. Please pray we can get it fixed before going to Texas. My back does not like that little Scion we have to drive instead!!!

We are waiting on another part to come in.

I sold another angel on Etsy and that is making me happy!

I've been having trouble with my stomach. Keeps cramping up. Raynaud's is bad too.

See ya tomorrow! [Smile]

Thanks for letting us know about Kayak. Last I read she was thinking of going to the ER.

It will be great when that window gets fixed.

It does make a big difference on comfort in cars. Can't imagine riding in one that makes you more uncomfortable. ugh.

Looks like we got a bit of rain here last night. This is good but we need lots more.

Able to clean up in the kitchen a bit. WAshed dishes while sitting in power chair. Still more cleaning up needed but resting now.

Got some more cards from cyber lyme friends. So much fun. Makes my Christmas.

This is new for me. My nearest & dearest family & friends are busy, indifferent or hostile. And, the longer i'm sick, the more these relationships deteriorate. I've read that support from family & friends is important... hoping there's some other way. God is with me. Prayer is an almost constant exercise. Right now i'm experiencing a Lyme flare. This disease was diagnosed 10 years ago and i seriously want out. I pray every day that God would either fix me or take me. I've considered ways to end it myself, but have come up with nothing do-able. There are 5 pets here who depend on me. The suicide hot line was no help at all. I don't know how this works, but if anyone wants my email it's [email protected]
Thank you. Ellielou

Hurray. Brain was finally working well enough to order the vacuum bags and upgrade my paypal acct.

I rec'd notice in Oct that I needed to upgrade the acct but brain has not been working well enough until now to do so.

3 weeks to order the vacuum bags too...this brain exercise stuff is tricky.

Ellie....been there...most likely will be there again.

My service dog keeps me going.

I find that being around people wears me out. Good to communicate via the keyboard when able.

Managing this so it is manageable takes years ....at least it is for me...and I still mess up at times and put myself in harms way.

Take care of you. [group hug]

A new caregiver showed up today. I finally had her make the GF corn muffins. I kept thinking I would be able to do it...but nope.

Had one for breakfast. Good.

I also asked her to make some hardboiled eggs. Cracked one open to have for breakfast...Not sure why but all I could eat out of the egg was the yolk and that was barely cooked...tasted good tho..cooked enough.

She also cleaned up some more in the kitchen. I put away dishes after she left. I need to check the DW and see if she put dishes in there.

Last time a caregiver put dishes in there it was months before I discovered it..don't use teh dishwasher anymore.

Caregivers don't seem to know that you need to get the food off of the dishes before putting the dishes in the DW.

She also folded some of the towels and sheets. Hoping to be able to put them away sometime today.

More still need folding. Backlogged here.

Good to have the help. Keeps me head above water.

Hump day, yeah! And bagel day too! [lick]

Didn't have a bagel but brought a turkey/cheese sandwich, chips and an apple.

Also one of the director's gave me a box of chocolates for Christmas.

Still not exercising yet so better go real slow on the candy.

TuTu-Thank you and right back at you. Also didn't know Kayak is at the ER. Hope she's ok. Happy to read about the sales and also hoping you all get the window issued fixed.

Kam-You are so funny! Thanks for this week's weather forecast. Looks like I don't have to worry about a thing. [lol]

Sparkie-Welcome to Lymenet and hang in there.

See you all tomorrow!

ellie-welcome-i too have been where you are. you can search any of our names and find our stories. ive been at this 30 yrs now-1/2 my life. and my 4 kids, grandson and daughterinlaw also had it

im much better than i was and decided i would stick arond for some more grand kids. my life is different than i thought it would be...but if i didnt have this life i figure id be dealing with cancer or "sandy" or 100 tornadoes in a night (one night last yr in the midwest)

i hope you will take time to look around the site and keep posting. for me even when things are real bad its easy to find others worse off...and then i just try to find something fun or worth staying for.

believe me there were times i thought of checking out. im glad i didnt cuz i have figured out how to make this disease tolerable...that doesnt mean i like it or the freakin disease doesnt suck...but for me for now...im stayin.

please come back tomorrow.

this is where you will find friends who care and really understand. there are a bunch of posts on here about all of us losing friends or family over the disease-and how we cope with it

PS I received notice that Excedrin Extra Strength will be back on the shelves in January.

AT least they hope it goes as planned.

This is good. I seemed to be able to do a bit more when I took a couple of excedrin in th eam.

I have tried lots of different generic ones including a new product bayer came out with called extra strength..but it didn't help??

It has been icy here...not only in the am and pm when I take Rosie out to toilet...but also mid day.

I have not checked the temp but guessing it was in the 30's.

Doing well enough I thought I might be able to load the power chair and go to the grocery store.

Tried to put the key in the lock on the lift and it woudnt' work. Hoping it is because the lock was iced up??

Picked up some lock de icer at the store but too weak and exhausted now to try it.

Able to get some groceries and get the keys made. I have yet to try the keys to see if they work...in the past they did not work and it became a big to do.

The guy at the sporting goods counter said he used a zip lock bag and those plastic ties to hide a key on his car.

Like me, the hide a key box kept disappearing and he did not notice it was gone until he needed it.

I also was finally able to get the curtains up in the front room and side room.

I still need to get the valances up but at least people will not be walking past my window and be able to look right in.

We are getting some strange people hanging around here again. Big turn over.

Trying to decide whether to take Rosie out to the forest to let her stretch her legs now or not.

I'd like to be out there myself..but most likely would need to stay in the car.

Too weak now to load the power chair up even if I could get the key to work for the lift.

gee kam-youve been busy

i slept a lot again and i am moving slow again...but i am not right. some chest pains are back and other stuff. some new wierd stuff. leg cramps. but strange ones---only about the size of a quarter...

but all my testing was fine...im glad they did kidneys cuz the pain in the big lump on my back keeps hurting.

i could hardly walk last night when a friend took me out to eat...and the shoulder woke me with pain this morning...

anyway...i hope i can stop complaining til after holidays. im going to spend the day slowly getting the house in order (that wil be exercise) and then just fixing healthy food and getting my supps in order and reading and watching movies...and maybe dancing with the refridgerator when im really feeling good.

if i feel really really good i did buy fixins to make a few really simple cookies...i thought my new tradition for christmas when no one comes might be to make cookies and then send them after christmas so they would get them when they got back to their places...

to tell u the truth...the way i feel and with the news last night that the flu is here in nh im kinda glad i wont have company and wont go anywhere...i just dont want to deal with anymore stuff going wrong with my body now.

i sure hope tutu gets to texas without too much pain and all you in the middle and west are dealing with these storms. i think they will be rain when they get here and thats a good thing.

my oldest called me the other day-he had talked to all his siblings and let me know in detail how well they are all doing...even my daughter who hung up oon me a month ago. she and i have talked and knowing they are all doing as well as can be expected in this economy and weather is a great chrismas present.

Thursday-Still no exercise but worked my jaw quite a bit. We had our catered Christmas lunch today.

I had ham, mac and cheese, brocolli/rice casserole, green beans, okra, roll and a half a slice of red velvet cake. [lick]

Trying hard not to feel guilty and just enjoy.

TuTu-Was glad to read Kayak's post and see what was going on.

Kayak-Relieved you're out of the ER and doing better.

Kam-I so much appreciate all the little things now. I'm still amazed everyday that I don't have to stay in the bed or on the couch.

You guys ROCK!!!

[kiss]

Brain is starting that inflamed stuff/pressure...

I used it this am to send some e cards out for Christmas and to talk with maintenance man.

It doesn't take much brain exercising before the brain starts to talk back.

Also took Rosie out to toilet...it was good to get out of the apartment. HOping to get out more today.

Haven't gotten dressed yet.

I did put dirty dishes in sink to soak.

LOL ALW..worked you jaw a bit. [Smile]

The swallowing thing should also be included...I have trouble with that and have had to change my food intake to soft foods or liquids.

Kayak...Sounds like a good Christmas. It will be nice to get your new home in order.

I hadn't thought of dancing with the ref. I have tried the broom but arms struggle to hold onto broom.

At least the frig can hold itself up. [Smile]

FRIDAY!!! FRIDAY!!! FRIDAY!!!

What a difference a day can make. [Big Grin]

And speaking of days.....I see we're all still here even though it's still before noon December 21, 2012. [Wink]

Starting my day out bad...apple fritter, Bolthouse mocha then someone brought in biscuits, so add a ham biscuit with strawberry jam.

Let's just say I'm throwing caution to the wind, along with my pants (to tight now) and my dignity. [lol]

Kam-My brain is kinda wonky today too. Been like that since this sinus stuff started. Hope we both get better.

See you all later!

ALW..thanks for the reminder to eat. I just got back from taking Rosie around the blk in the PC, poop patrol...I did good..

I was going to wash my hands and then bring some things with me to eat while I lay here and forgot.

I also washed the 2 sinks of dirty dishes and yesterday I was able to kind of put the valances up...not sure if I mentioned that.

I need to take one down and add some more curtain to it when able.

Good morning. Able to do more than lyme normal.

Wtg for clothes to dry now..I can rest here for 30 min then it will be time to get up again.

Almost 11 am. usually I need to veg around 9 am

I did have the heat thing going with movement and brain struggling but still got the job done

I also was able to put up a Christmas Card in the lobby for the usual suspects. Not able to individual cards this year.

Talked with the new mgr. I need to learn to do that hand behind the hear so I can hear better or they know I am not hearing what they are saying.

I just picked up a word here and there of what she was telling me.

Also sent an email to the business that is going to put the lift on that I just need to roll the power chair onto instead of having to tie it down.

I am supposed to get in installed next week some time. Sure hope it works out and all goes well.

Sure hope the person who said they would be able to drive me down is able to also.

Hubby's exercise for today was walking down the hall to the bathroom, taking a shower and coming back to bed.

He's been in bed since he came home from the hospital on Monday afternoon.

His blood pressure is in the normal ranges on 3 bp meds. He feels very tired..... could be partly from the meds? The whole ER deal was really hard on his adrenals.

Going to take some time to rebuild the adrenals again.

MannaMe..glad he got a shower...I know I always feel better after I am able to take a shower.

It most likely will take him a few days to get back to "lyme normal"

Today the most exercise hubby got was getting out of bed so the boys could move the bed over beside the window.

Hopefully he can absorb some sunshine during the day when it shines directly in our windows.

mANNAme..I hope so too. I remember when I moved into the end apartment how I enjoyed the warm sun coming thru the front room window.

I had forgotten about that.

I think I fed the dog, emptied the water from the kithen sink and put hot, sudsy water in again..hoping to wash those dishes this am.

Kind of made the bed. I still need to tuck in the blanket and sheet...not sure that is a good idea even if I could do it..it would do me in.

Heart was pounding but since I laid back down it went back to normal. But, gravity is very heavy this am and I exhausted quickly.

need to keep track of waht I eat each day. I dnn't think I am getting enough food in me.

Ok Got one sink of dishes washed. Rosie out to toilet...icy out.

Able to have 3 short conversations with neighbors this am while coming into the lobby.

One neighbor is moving...hopefully into a house with a yard. He has two large yellow labs.
