Her MIL went to be with the Lord today. She was peaceful at the time. TuTu and her hubby were with her.
She will not be near a computer for four days, but leave your messages and I am sure she will look forward to reading your notes.

Thank you, everyone! You brought me to tears. Please continue to pray for my FIL, Edwin. He has some dementia and we pray he can continue to take care of himself a while longer. He is 85.
My husband did all of the music for his mom's service. He is so amazing and did a job I never could have done. It was so cool that he played Amazing Grace on soprano sax at the gravesite. How many people get THAT!?
He played for the services of both of my parents too. (in '93 and '05) I love him!!
Thanks, everyone. It's hard for me to get online, so don't expect me to be here much for another week.
LOVE YOU ALL!!

Sorry for your loss. Yes, playing or singing at a loved ones funeral is difficult, as I've done it. I sang at most all my grandparents, some aunts/uncles, and a recording of me singing and playing was played at my dad's service. I also brought my guitar with me to AZ to play and sing at his bedside in hospice. It's hard, but not impossible. All my best to you and your hubby. I also hope FIL will be okay. Tough stuff.

Twicebitten.. that is so sweet that you could do those things!
I sang Christmas hymns to my mom when she was dying. Now my favorite (but VERY sad) Christmas hymn is "Lo, a Rose Ere Blooming." Someone sang that solo this year at our Christmas Eve service. It was amazing and I cried all the way thru it.
