It's not just Massachusetts ... Lyme is rampant throughout the Northeast (which includes all the way out to the Minnesota-Wisconsin area and down to Pennsylvania) and down to the Southern states, according to some, basically of epidemic proportions.
Unfortunately, many ... if not most ... MDs are not recognizing Lyme or, if they do, don't know how to treat it other than the typical not-necessarily-effective antibiotics. LLMDs are not that available, let alone are proper testing facilities (not to speak of accurate tests).
And sadly, this appears to remain the status for the foreseeable future ... unless WE can do something to change things ...
