Hi all,

We have a young girl ( age 12) in our area who would like to correspond with another lyme sufferer around her age. Is anyone aware of a group for teen lymies?? Please let me know if you could match this girl up with someone. She is lonely and needs support. Thanks.

This is an old thread, but maybe something here will help.

I don't know how active the teen group is at SE PA group. It wasn't last time I suggested it to someone else. The good thing about that group is that it was moderated, which is essential IMO. Unmoderated online groups get taken over by trolls.

If no luck there, try contacting support groups, see if they know someone who might want this too.

I am from the Kentuckiana Lyme Support Group. Do you have any info on how to get in touch with the SE. PA group??

Click on the "support groups" in the green area .. left side of this screen. Then proceed from there.

Have her look up the blog "Lyme chick". The author, a young girl, also has a Facebook page by the same name.
