I've been treated for Chronic Lyme now for a little over a year and have had a pretty hard time getting my Husband to understand, support the treatments and expense.

My Doctor said that he wanted to test my Husband, which was done and my Husband tested positive for Lyme.

Since Lyme can be passed on through sexual intercourse, assuming this is how he contracted it, it has been suggested that he go on a pulse therapy of three different abx so that he does not pass it back to me.

Tonight was his first dose of abx and he has a stomach ache and back of head ache and asks me "is this what abx are gonna make me feel like, if so... I'm going off this crap ?"

I assured him it can't be already a herx reaction. This is going to be really tough, any suggestions ??? LOL :-) [Roll Eyes]

Yes, it can be a herx reaction!! I'm so sorry you two are dealing with this!!

Make sure he takes probiotics!!

PS .. If it is doxy, make sure he takes it in the middle of a full meal so his stomach doesn't rebel!

Maybe at the next LLMD appointment the doc can explain a few of the experiences one will go thru while treating.

Sorry you both have Lyme. One is more than enough.
