My regular GP is awesome. I just feel so lucky to have her.
I went in to see her about further thyroid testing and possibly trying therapy. She always takes the time to sit down with me and talk about any questions I have. That alone makes her awesome as I know that many on here have GPs who just dismiss their illness and symptoms.
But during this visit, she told me that she was invited to the Lyme conference in Hershey later this month and was very excited about going. She gave me the pamphlet and said it was also open to the public. It took me by surprise that the flyer said it was ILADS. She is a mainstream doc. I am loving this embracement! (I don't think that is actual word but just go with it )
I know this post probably goes in one of the other discussion forums but I didn't really know which one and the Medical Questions is the most visible one.
Is anyone planning on attending?

I think it is intended for medical professionals and is currently sold out, it is said. Glad to hear about your GP.
