How do you go about removing nymphs or seed ticks? I've seen stuff on how to remove a larger tick but wonder what to do with a really small one or a bunch of them at once?

- I'm so sorry but I just have to say that my whole dictionary has sure changed since I became lyme-aware.
In earlier days, the term "nymph" would have brought thoughts of springtime frolic in the woods, under a full moon, carried by a gentle breeze. I'd rather reside in the myth of such lovely creatures. -

- I've seen some of the "tools" that state they can remove smaller ones, too. There are couple different kinds of these.

when my son was young and he got into these and his feet and legs were covered in them, we used the side of a credit card and scraped them off by rubbing up and down on his legs/feet with the credit card. Did a good job.
But . . . for four weeks after he had a weekly appointment at the hospital for further removals. He was covered head to toe. He'd lay out naked on a table, and they had to use a lighted magnifying glass and go over his entire body and continue picking them off one by one.
That was about 20 yrs ago - no lyme symptoms for him!!!

Lymetoo - he does not have Lyme. He and I have both been tick bombed too many times to count. So far no affect on him!
I on the other hand seem to have contracted Lyme years and years ago.
Hubby and I both bit by ticks on Sunday. We had lotion and spray repellent on - these little suckers are persistant!!!

I'm just saying that being covered in ticks is no fun and frightening. I was once covered that way. Fast forward 42 yrs and I was finally diagnosed with Lyme.
