LD 597 was presented at the Senate.

Sen. Craven stood up and said she supported the Minority Report ( instead of the Majority Report).

After talking with Rep. Briggs in the halls, she said she made a mistake and wrote a note

to the Senate President saying she made a mistake and he said they would take it up on

tomorrow's agenda.

Susan is staying for the rest of the day in case something else develops.

Sen. Gratwick from Bangor is an MD (rheumatologist) is vehemently against this bill and is being

vocal about it.

Apparently, many members of the Senate were suprised by the way this unfolded.

RIGHT NOW---anyone and everyone who can must call or email your Senator and tell them

you want them to support LD 597 ammendment A.

Find your Senator here

Let's flood them with emails!

Paul, you should put Maine in the subject line, to get more attention from the right folks. Just in state people, right?
