Thank you all so much. I really appreciate it.
Unfortunately, the pneumonia has gotten worse and he is going into hospice this morning. It's all in the Lord's Hands.
Lymetoo - no, he did not have pneumonia last year, but fell and had blood on the brain. He has been unable to walk since then and his health has deteriorated over the past year.

May God's perfect peace surround you and your family. May His loving touch surround your Dad. And may God give wisdom to all who care for your dad.
So sorry you are hurting.

Your comforting words were very much appreciated and helped tremendously. My Dad was the best Father and Grandfather anyone could ever have!
My sisters and I were blessed to have him for so many years and God gave us the gift of being with Dad when he went home to Heaven into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father and Creator.
We miss him terribly, but I know my Dad is home with the Lord and that he is well and no longer suffering.
He has "won the race, endured, kept the faith" and as a "good and faithful servant" has been given the "crown of righteousness".
We will see him again!

No more pain, no tears-just joy.
I think about my Dad and I see him whole, with no pain, waiting to greet me.
I will continue to pray for you. Grief is a journey, be good to yourself.
