Definitely! It should be a great series! If nothing else hopefully it will take our minds off our symptoms for a little while! Enjoy!!

LT I hope your team wins! Like tennis, I have absolutely no understanding of basketball either!
Baseball is all I pretty much understand. It's slow enough lol plus my nephew is a great catcher so that helps Posts: 1885 | From here | Registered: Jul 2012

And yet, go figure. Me, with no hand-eye coordination whatsoever can beat anyone at that carnival game where you throw the darts at the balloons.
Go me!

That's a game I understand.
Throw the darts and try to hit the balloons, period.
No scoring, no time-outs, no first downs, no love, no cheers, no whistling, no endless hours of watching.
Pop the balloons and you get a prize. That's my kind of game.

Well if you were going up against me in that dart/balloon carnival game you would NOT be laughing
I AM really good at that to the point the rest of the family is in shock and awe at my amazing abilities.
Either that or they're just humoring me. I prefer to think they're just in shock and awe.

That's cool! I can't remember the last time I played darts. Like a hundred years ago.

Well get yourself to a carnival!! Here on the east coast these fun games are everywhere during the summer. So come on up and play darts with me!
Another favorite game of mine is when they have some person guess your weight, your birth month or your aqe.
Before I gained weight, I always opted for them to guess my age. I felt pretty good when they consistently guessed that I was 5 years younger than I was. That was almost as good as a tummy-tuck, but not really
I have obviously veered off topic as I have a tendency to do....so
Is your team winning?

We're doing OK... can't get shots to fall. But they WILL! It's half-time and it's Miami 52, Spurs 49. No problem!

Yes - watched it. Yeah SA! That was close - I actually cannot believe they won. WOW.
I'm a Rockets girl. But I like some other teams like SA and OKC. The Heat are so full of thugs IMHO I find them hard to watch. But I love Battier. Wish we still had him. Oh dear and the Birdman. He is from Iola Tx - is that by Waco?
Go Spurs! And yes basketball gets me through the winters/blues. I am lost in the offseason. BB is about the only thing I can tolerate to watch on TV anymore.

I knew all evening that we could pull it off once our shots began to fall. We were shooting a lower percentage than usual. Shots we usually got were not going in.
I would totally root for the Rockets if roles were reversed! I'm a native Houstonian!!
I had forgotten that Battier played for the Spurs. Must not have been for long.
Not sure about Iola. A Spurs fan said last night that we could use the birdman's hair to SWEEP! ahhaahha

I'm not into basketball, but since LeBron James isn't one of my favorite people: Go Spurs!
We are a hockey family, die-hard Detroit Red Wing fans. Boston and Chicago are in the finals and we're rooting for Boston!

I know. I was practically celebrating the win. OOPS. They said the Heat saw the yellow tape coming out for the award ceremony and got MAD .. mad enough to fight harder and win it. Dang!
