This is a very important bill.
I can't understand why it was moved to general when more people can see it in medical. There is a post in medical about two 40 million dollar lyme cases. Those have zero to do with any of us being at risk from the fda's involvement with supplements. Hands down, this bill is more serious, as it could affect us all.

I completely agree, Catgirl, this is of the utmost importance to pretty much all of us!! This is really serious.
Mods, can you please put it back in Medical, so the most people will see it---before it's too late and we don't have access to supplements anymore.
For me, and for many, that would literally be a death sentence. And this bill has an excellent chance of passing quickly.

The pharmaceutical companies would love to make supplements by prescription only, and how many doctors understand supplements?
And with researchers now saying the we are headed toward a day when antibiotics will fail us (very soon, actually), we need alternatives to treat infections of every kind.
This should be under our control, not the government or pharmaceutical companies.
