My son Michael is in Radford, VA (we are in Virginia Beach) dealing with Lyme and probably Babesia (since August). He had his second bicillon shot today and feels really bad. The first didn't do much but this second one has gotten him, Please, please pray for relief of pain (severe headache since Ausust) and healing. He is on medpron, ketek and erethromyocin (sp) I would have thought that the medpron would work by now.
Blessings are that we think it was caught early and that we found a LLD near him. Silver lining...I have had Lyme since 1999,,,never would have recognized his symptoms otherwise.
Blessings to all

Prayers for your son. Blessings come in all forms. Your knowing the signs was a blessing.
I pray for his pain to end and his health to return. Dr. Jesus is the best Healer.

Actually mepron is probably not enough for babesia. He probably needs to add some herbs as well -- something like artemisinin or cryptolepis. Babesia can easily take a year or more of treatment. Adding malarone might be an even better option or ivermectin is cheap -- especially the horse paste from Tractor Supply.
Plus it does not look like he has been on cyst busters yet. But if the bicillin shots are causing an extreme herx then it may still be too early to add those in.
This is not medical advice, just my opinion based on hubby's experiences.

Praying for your dear son as I am praying for mine. He's been ill for 13 years now, still has chronic pain, irregular sleep patterns and short-term memory problems. We haven't been able to hug him in 7 years!
He's been getting IVIG infusions for the last two years because the Lyme caused an auto-immune condition and now his LL Immunologist is not covered by our insurance (this treatment is prohibitively expensive!!).
My son also had Babesiosis. He took Mepron & Artemisinin for it.
Yes, I agree with Pocono Lyme that "Dr. Jesus is the best Healer". He truly is the Great Physician!

Thank you so much for your caring responses. He is struggling, but ok. He has Artesmia...wasn't sure about taking it with Medpron. For me, medpron did not do it...the Artesmia did. We will talk with his doc...she is very responsive.
Does anyone know what we might expect from an MRI...one was done of his brain on Friday.
Thank you again....blessings to all...
