24-Year-Old Lyme Disease Advocate Holds an Open Forum During His Detour in Ohio Education Other Health and Wellness
Tuesday, November 12, 2013, 1:00 AM - 2:00 AM
Health officials have reported that blacklegged ticks, which transmit Lyme disease, have now been found in more than 50 Ohio counties, contributing to the alarming rise of Lyme disease in the state.
We invite you to come meet 24-year-old John Donnally as he takes a break from his 4,000 mile cross-country tour to meet with Cincinnati Lyme victim Whitney Woodburn to raise awareness of this growing epidemic. Donnally and Woodburn, founder of Lyme Education Awareness Program (LEAP) will be hosting an educational forum in Cincinnati at the Refuge Coffee Bar from 5:00 – 6:00 pm.

Yes I agree it is every where. I know Ohio is the one state that claims we don't have a problem, they try and say that it was coming from people traveling at 1st.
From what I understand, When the health department called me she keep insinuating (SP) that I must have got it in N.J or somewhere else that I might have been.
That it is very unlikely I got it here. So I was so surprised when I seen how many counties in Ohio there were.
I thought there were less then that from other information I was given prior.

We have reached the stage of development where we must write a big check to our government for our non-profit status filing and we need your help to raise the funds.
All the money we raise is this campaign will go toward the high cost of establishment. Any funds raised above the amount for filing will stay right here in Ohio and kick start our mission of spreading awareness and prevention in our beloved state.
