Merry Christmas Folks,
Late yesterday,my power returned since Saturday

Finding some extra nice christmas cards,

and pretty much useing a generator for furnance

and water, then water heater blew pressure value

Replaced- Just got it Hot and all is back to NORMAL..

Normal, I was deep into solitude and Quiet,

had 2 visitors, one 65 yr old despearate friend,

no money - no food - like what (" God dragged in.

me sick, no electric, provided a plate of

Caribou steaks and more, we spent the hours by

candle light remembering our days past...

another friend brought me chocolates and spicey cheeses and salimami's

... ugh, he actually said I know how much you love chocolate.. really never buy or eat it..?

and this is a life long friend ?

May You all find Peace and helpfullness at your door..

So glad that you could find peace, solitude and a friend in need during your own trials.

It can be difficult to go without power for a long time. I'm thankful that you had a generator.

You had a real CHRISTmas at your home. God was there showing love and compassion.

Praying for a healthy and happy New Year for you and everyone here, payne.

Ps 18:32-35
It is God who arms me with strength

and makes my way perfect.

He makes my feet like the feet of a deer;

he enables me to stand on the heights.

He trains my hands for battle;

my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

You give me your shield of victory,

and your right hand sustains me;

you stoop down to make me great.

Payne posted this last week and I commented at the end of the week. Just want to repost in case people missed it.

As I read the verses in Psalm 18 I was struck by how many times it says things like "He makes", "He enables", "He gives".

The action of most of these verses is God. It is God doing something. Our role is to receive and then we become something.

It is so appropriate in this season of gift giving to realize that Immanuel, God with us, is the gift that keeps on giving.

He is health. Let us receive Him in greater measure this year and become healthy.

Thanks for reposting and the reminder, soccermama.

That is a good resolution, to receive Him in greater measure.

Deuteronomy 32:1-50 [hi]

“Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak,

and let the earth hear the words of my mouth.

May my teaching drop as the rain,

my speech distill as the dew,

like gentle rain upon the tender grass,

and like showers upon the herb.

For I will proclaim the name of the Lord;

ascribe greatness to our God!

“The Rock, his work is perfect,

for all his ways are justice.

A God of faithfulness and without iniquity,

just and upright is he. [group hug]

"Let the meditation of my heart be pleasing in thy sight O'God."

Being convicted that God wants even our thoughts to be pleasing. He doesn't need it but when our meditations are good, our bodies are healthier.

This pleases God.

"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report,

if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, exercise yourselves in these things."

[hi] God Thought family.
Welcome Merry.
[group hug]

I was without internet service from 12/20 until 12/27. Then went into a rut of sorts. I received my new study Bible that I've been anxiously awaiting.

I started in the beginning and couldn't absorb anything. [Frown] Right now asking God for understanding of what I will read.

I Said A Prayer For You Today

I said a prayer for you today
And know God must have heard.
I felt the answer in my heart
Although He spoke no word!

I didn't ask for wealth or fame
(I knew you wouldn't mind).
I asked him to send treasures
Of a far more lasting kind!

I asked that He be near you
At the start of each new day;
To grant you health and blessings
And friends to share your way!

I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small.
But it was for His loving care
I prayed the most of all!

--------------------
2 Corinthians 12:9-11

9 But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christs power may rest on me.

John 14:26

But the Helper,

the Holy Spirit,

whom the Father will send in my name,

he will teach you all things

and bring to your remembrance

all that I have said to you. [group hug]

[hi] Friends ask God, and let The Spirit work..
in all things, small and great..
when in illness and you need someone to come to your door ??
Did we ask God to Help US ?

when we take meds did we ask God to Bless them ?

when we need to understand, do we ask God to HELP US UNDERSTAND ?

ASK GOD FIRST..
Obediance in prayers and Blessings over all things.. will bring gifts from a far.
unknown gifts
He Holds, Unlimited Treasures and gifts waiting on your asking..Provisions Unknown to man.
God is Great, and Great is God.

You're very welcome healthywealthywise.

I have this prayer printed in a picture frame.

You are blessed to have those who love and care for you every day.

One night this past week I woke up at my usual 2 o'clock feeding [Roll Eyes] [Smile] water. I had voiced to one or two people that I know my family never loved nor cared for me but that night it sunk in.

It was like a knife to my heart. I almost started bawling but immediately I remembered how God loves us more than any earthly person ever could.

I found His PEACE and felt His LOVE. [bow] [sleepy] I am blessed.

Please pray for 13 year old Jahi McMath who was declared brain dead in a CA Children's Hospital after tonsil surgery.

A hospital spokesman said, "No amount of prayer, no amount of hope, no amount of any type of medical procedure will bring her back."

Her family does not want her disconnected from life support. A court gave them a Jan 7 deadline. Her family is looking for a long-term care facility who will accept her.

Please pray for Jahi's recovery. I was so angry when I heard what that hospital spokesman said on tv. It only makes me want to pray harder!

Our God is the God of all hope, and anything is possible with God.

I haven't read this week's posts yet, but I wanted to THANK YOU fellow Christians, other members, and moderators, for allowing Christians to talk about our faith here.

I have several illnesses at once, and was just blocked from another forum for expressing my beliefs. I wasn't told ahead of time that talking about my faith was against the forum rules. It hurt. Our faith and our entire well being are so intertwined that it's hard for me to separate the two.

Thank you that I'm still welcome here. It's hard enough being sick. There's no need to block people from support sites simply because of their faith.

Blessings, Ellen

TOP TEN PREDICTIONS FOR 2014:

With all the problems the World is facing, it can be unsettling to the mind.

Today, I share with you ten predictions that are true!

1. The Bible will still have all the answers.

2. Prayer will still be the most powerful thing on Earth..

3. The Holy Spirit will still move..

4. God will still honor the praises of His people.

5. There will still be God-anointed preaching.

6. There will still be singing of praise to God.

7. God will still pour out blessings upon His people.

8. There will still be room at the Cross.

9. Jesus will still love you.

10. Jesus will still save the lost when they come to Him.

Isn't it great To Remember Who Is Really In Control, and that;

"the Word of the Lord endures forever." ( 1 Peter 1:25 )

Sometimes we need the reminder of just WHO is really in control. Have a Blessed day.

Ephesians 4:11-16

And he gave

the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers,

to equip the saints for the work of ministry,

for building up the body of Christ,

until we all attain to the unity of the faith

and of the knowledge of the Son of God,

to mature manhood,

to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,

so that we may no longer be children,

tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every kind of doctrine,

by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.

Rather, speaking the truth in love,

we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head,

into Christ.. Jesus Christ

Pocono, Awesome share.

Payne, life can really toss us around. How important to know that others keep us grounded and that "grounding" causes us to grow in Him.

Thanks to all here.
