Hi, you all, I hope everyone is doing okay today. I'm not one to feel sorry for myself like this, but I am having a really hard time with my depression and anxiety worsening. I've been so angry and sad lately that I have a hard time controlling it and just want to be done with it all, I'm tired. I can't do anything right on with electronics, relationships etc. I feel like the bacteria is eating my brain away and I can't keep up with it. I'm on my fourth week of IV home infusion now, which is going pretty well. Where and what can one do when feeling so desperate? Posts: 36 | From Arkansas | Registered: Feb 2012

Fourth week is herx territory. Maybe that is part of it.

boboosh44, 1st. stop betting yourself up regarding not being able to do anything right; Lyme depression & anxiety is the cause of it.
These two symptoms are usually the worst to deal with, it will get better in time.
Maybe you can try these tips>
* Exercise - even walking is good * Eat healthy - anti-inflammatory diet * Watch funny movies * Read some books that interest you * Rid yourself of problematic people in your life!!! * Realize your triggers * Above all, keep yourself busy
Keep posting, it takes your mind off negative thoughts!
I hope you find some relief real soon

Keep doing relaxing, calming things baboosh.
The 4 week herx, then the 7 week herx are real emotional zingers.
It will pass. Things will improve and you will get your sense of "you" back.
It happens to me the week of PMS, the days of my period and my 7 week herx cycle.
I turn into an emotional wreck. In so much physical pain and just feel like crawling into a cardboard box and taping down the flaps.
Hang in there. We're all right beside you, supporting you through this tough patch.
