Thanks, everyone! Sharing awareness and hope is what it's all about!
I believe that everyone has a healing path. And... everyone is different!
In order to heal, you must find the path that resonates with you.
Find a doctor that believes that you will heal.
Believe in your therapies.
And never give up!
Focus on healing - focus on what gives you joy. It can be as simple as looking at the clouds. Be in that moment. And be thankful for that moment.
Be thankful for the things you have.
Forgive yourself and forgive others! "All disease comes from a state of unforgiveness."
Chronic sickness is a signal for change. Look within yourself and your thoughts. Negative thoughts like fear, anger, resentment and guilt, do not serve you.
Love and accept yourself! You are love!
Blessings!

Healer Dealer...I'm happy for you to have passed into the healthy threshold again. You have been truly blessed.
However, one part of your message didn't resonate well with me.....you said:
"Forgive yourself and forgive others! All disease comes from a state of unforgiveness."
AND
"Chronic sickness is a signal for change. Look within yourself and your thoughts. Negative thoughts like fear, anger, resentment and guilt, do not serve you."
I could be wrong, but that quote almost sounded like words some of the docs that failed me said....think more positively about what else is going on in your life and make a change..count your blessings....think about something else.
AS IF, I could get better by not dwelling on the downward spiral this illness has and continues to take on my body and life.
I have nothing to forgive myself for ...this is not self inflicted. Personally, I do not and will never forgive the line of quacks who misdiagnosed me over the years or the CDC blocking our attempts at treatment even after it's proven to be TBD's.
Is this why I'm not getting better? My fault? Bad outlook?
Before you think I'm just a negative Nellie, I've spent almost half of my life dealing w/and adapting to this by thinking positive, praying and hoping tomorrow will be better..and faking it when it was devouring my life and body..it's how I make it through most days.
So if that was the intent of your message, I agree. Having a positive outlook while treating is critical w/any disease.
Again, if I took it out of context, forgive me. I'm having a very bad time right now.

Feeling depressed, angry, etc. is normal.
The worst and most manipulating emotion is guilt, and it is used against sick people.
I have just decided that feelings are feelings, not good or bad, positive or negative, just feelings. And feelings are okay.
And getting rid of inflammation in my brain and nervous system helped me to lessen those "so called" negative feelings.

Healthywealthywise - thank you for your honest and open response. I welcome it!
I took antibiotics for years, was functioning, but only got so far. But, my acute emotional and energetic imbalances were never addressed.
I switched to the holistic path and within 3 years I was in remission. Holistic therapies consist of treating the body, mind and spirit. There is ALWAYS a connection.
And the root problem may not be what you think. All problems wind up causing physical symptoms but the root problem - may be emotional or energetic!
I started an energetic and holistic therapy from Germany called Allergie-Immun.
My new holistic dr. and psychiatrist who I consider to be brilliant, put me on a heavy metal detox, general detox, herbal support for my organs, and performed Neural Therapy for practically every visit.
Neural Therapy consists of tiny injections over scar tissue and organs to promote the flow of "chi" or "life force".
But the most dramatic healing came about when he performed emotional therapy. He helped me to unblock past unresolved emotional trauma and replace this with more positive and loving thoughts.
As a result of this therapy, I now believe that my ROOT problem was past unresolved negative thought patterns that completely beat down my immune system.
Our thoughts are extemely powerful. I have read of people healing themselves after experiencing some type of trauma in their life and start to think in a more loving, positive, thankful and forgiving way.
As I healed, I changed. I was made aware of my thoughts so now I choose loving thoughts. Loving and positive thoughts benefit you. Forgiveness is extremely powerful.
I was resenting people throughout my life (for different reasons) and looping this negative thought process in my mind for years - and I had no idea that I was doing this.
I have a lot more to say - but you will have to PM me.
Healing Blessings to you!

I can see how emotional trauma, and the painful thoughts connected to them, can hurt your immune system.
It sounds like your psychiatrist is really cool, unlike most of them - perhaps part accupunturist -certainly alternative.
Well, everyone is different. Some do well re-visiting the past, and for others that is not the way.
But I am so glad you found people so open-minded and that you are well.
Cheers!!
I see you are in New jersey. Would the psych doc be the Dr. B who believes lyme can cause all kinds of problems in the psych?

Hi Rivendell - My former dr, psychiatrist and healer (who I believe is brilliant!) is not Dr. B. His name begins with a G.
His practice is in Long Island and has a clinic much like Dr. K's. I can PM you the info if you like.
You are so right when you say everyone is different. That is why many integrative and holistic drs. (including Dr. G) look at each patient individually.
In the book, Beyond Lyme Disease by Connie Strasheim, she points out so many underlying factors that can be missed by some of the best drs.
One thing she mentions is infected cavitations as being a major cause for symptoms for some people.
This was the major problem for Perry Fields - who wrote The Tick Slayer, a book about her recovery from Lyme.
When her cavitations (holes in the jawbones) were cleaned she recovered very quickly.
Connie also points out how conventional testing is not always accurate. I agree with this.
For me, muscle testing was an essential tool for my recovery. Through muscle testing, Dr. G found many problems that I never knew I had.
I also feel when it comes to this disease - open-mindedness is essential in recovery!
Blessings!
