I just need to get it out

I feel so helpless. I've vp been taking care of my sister as much as I can for 2yrs now

She has severe arthritis and headaches from Lyme

She took WAY too many pain meds and Excedrin and in result lost a ton of weight. She had two huge ulcers that resulted into a partial gastrectomy.

She was good right after surgery but is now down to 75lbs with another ulcer.

I feel like I am watching her waste away and it kills me. She tries to eat but most days she is too weak or nauseous to eat.

I am pushing her GI doctor for a feeding tube at this point.

I just feel so lost and exhausting [Frown]

Wow, Amy. That is awful!!! I'm so sorry that things are so rough! Do keep pushing for the feeding tube. Sounds like it's the only way!

How is your health?

My sister is on iv treatments for ra. She takes tons of steroids and vicodin.

I bet its lyme but she won't listen. Drs are gods and know everything.

Has your sister been tested?

I'm doing better, amy! Still many struggles, but the Body Ecology Diet has really helped me. Finally, some help for the gut and BODY!

Does your sister have a good Dr?

Her doctor is really good

She is just not one to take care of herself.

I emailed him tonight. I said we need to do feeding tube. That we are beyond the point of needing it.

She has a long way to go and a lot of issues to deal with.

They also found yeast in her esophagus which stinks because she cannot be on a yeast diet right now because she is so thin!

I am getting her dr to test her adrenal gland now as well

I know not to take steroids. As far as my treatment none zero no steroids. For me. Others might share my point of knowing.
