Thanks for all you have shared payne and Pocono.

I am trying to pray more and read my Bible more during Lent.

I pray for many things. Some of them are "use me Lord", and "Help me to always seek Your will and not mine".

I want to read at least 30 minutes per day and I find myself reading longer because it is interesting.

Right now I am reading the book of Luke.

Help me to do better Lord, and to be a better person.

Luke 10:27(NRSV)

27 He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”

Thanks to all of you for your sharing!

Hiker .. you are a very gifted poet. I hope you will publish your writings someday!

I still have not decided what my focus will be for Lent. Reading the Bible more is probably the best idea out there!

Thanks for the inspiration, Dekrator.

It can happen instantly, and it's free.

This is from the "Touching Lives" facebook page:

"Touching Lives
Morning Inspiration with Pastor Merritt

Jesus talks about physical miracles (the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised) and then He adds this, “and the poor have good news preached to them.” Wait a minute! What is so miraculous about preaching good news? Why did Jesus put that last? I will tell you why. The greatest miracle of all that God ever does is not to heal a person’s body, but to change a person’s heart.

Suppose this morning two things happen at the end of this service. Suppose someone paralyzed from birth was suddenly and miraculously healed and started running all around this building? What if someone who was born blind all of a sudden had 20/20 vision? Suppose that another person, in perfectly good health gives their heart and life to Jesus Christ and trusts Him as their Lord and Savior? Do you know what would excite us more? The physical miracle. Do you know what we would be talking about more? The physical miracle.

When you compare the two there is no comparison. One is temporary for the person will still eventually die. The other is eternal, because now that person will live forever. The physical miracle requires only a touch from God. The spiritual miracle cost God His only Son.

That is why every time someone comes up to me and says, “Today, I received Christ as my Savior”, every time I see someone baptized in our church, every time I see a life changed simply by the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins, and was buried, and raised from the dead, when you ask me the question, “Do you believe in miracles?” I say, “Yes!”

Share this with a friend. Give them the gift of God’s inspiration."

Just wanted to post an update on my friend's daughter. She is out of ICU and has been on the behavioral health floor.

It is looking pretty good for her to come home this week. She needs to find a good doctor to manage her mental health needs.

Thanks for the prayers!!!

my friends,
thank you with blessings from above,

for sharing here and many other places,

if you step up here,

I know you are also praying for many others.. and I thank God for that,

I am in a hard place,

I fell on the ice and well its draining pain through my flesh, like lyme wasnt enough

as my SPIRIT(joy) arises to the cause,

I have fallen short of cheering on my friends here,

that means more to me then myself,

if you can understand that,

I need not say more, but,

I ask that you Pray Harder for those here

and there, step up your game and know that

WE NEED not fear tomorrow

as God is already there..

Blessings in PEACE and SHARING... [group hug]

I will surely pray for you, brother!

Soccer.. so happy to hear that your friend's daughter is better. Continuing prayers.

Good morning brothers and sisters. When I woke up very early this morning, I was reflecting on the past two days. It was incredible and amazing.

We have been under a tremendous amount of stress, more than the stress that comes with Lyme.

Tuesday morning my husband took me to the hospital for the breast biopsies. I knew he was nervous but didn't realize just how nervous he was.

I tried to not show my anxiety but I believed I would go into adrenal crisis as I didn't feel medically stable to undergo being cut open, laying on my stomach for over an hour,,...

It went OK overall. I don't know the results yet but this is the amazing part.

When we were on our way home, my husband said he emailed/texted many people including the Pastor asking for prayer.

Most got right back to him and even were asking their families to pray.

Many have said they were praying for me over the years and I believe some did. This was very different. At first when he told me, I was taken aback and when it sunk in, I had this most beautiful feeling of being surrounded in comfort.

I visualized a large circle of women in a circle on their knees and bowed down praying. They were dressed in long uniform type dresses. I don't know what that would mean. Very unusual for me to visualize something like that.

The sense of comfort and peace and most of all belonging was and still is incredible and indescribable.

I don't know the results of the biopsies yet but it doesn't matter. God knows and is with me. He is with you too.

In addition to the wonderful feelings I have, one of the debilitating symptoms I've had now for nearly 12 years is improving and quite rapidly! [bow]

Payne - I have been in the same place but know that I have been praying for you and others here and will continue to do so. I'm so sorry you fell. Lifting you up in prayer. Feel better my brother.

Temporarilyplagued made a good point. It's free. Jesus paid the price in full. For us!

Hiker - I so love your poetry. I wanted to search for one of your poems prior to Tuesday as I remember it being comforting but I didn't have enough strength. [Frown]

I am going to look for it though and save it this time. [Smile]

Great share Dekrator. Love it!
Soccermama - I've been praying for you too. I was so much hoping that after you had the MIRP that you would be "cured". Thankful that your friend's daughter is showing improvement.

Prayers will continue for her as I'm sure it will be an ongoing struggle. Jesus could heal her in an instant though. His will be done.

Dogsandcats - such a wonderful promise I look forward to.

Thanks all for being here. I look forward to everyone's sharing especially on those extra hard days.

Hi <<<<< God Tho'ts Prayer Warriors/Lyme Warriors>>>>>,

Thanks so much, for sharing here, the scriptures and poetry are truly awesome!!!

I've been housebound w/ respiratory flu but have been so blessed! I can come here and read, and think on the Lord, and Church family has been checking in too!!!

A young friend of ours, had to have surgery today, she is in a lot of pain, but thru her pain she is praising the Lord!

She said :" I am so glad ,I belong to the Lord, even tho' I am in pain right now, He has a reason for me to be here so I am not giving up.

Krys' has been wheelchair bound for several years, due to an unknown infection, that damaged her heart/lungs/kidneys and so on. She is a young college student [schooling on-line].

We talked last night, and she was very nervous, because her last surgery she quit breathing. This time,as far as we know it went well.

They removed five growths from her abdomen, one was huge, watermelon size. She is awaiting her surgeons report.

She is still in a lot of pain, and is resting now. Please keep her in your tho'ts and prayers if you see this.

We hope to get to see her tomorrow afternoon. If she is awake and able to have company, I will be wearing a mask, hopefully I'm not contagious now...but wont take that chance.

She is a wonderful young gal, and has gone thru some really difficult problems, but she is so much fun to be around, I am praying for the Lords comfort for hr,and freedom from pain!

<<<<< Payne >>>>>, prayers going up for a full and speedy recovery. I fall easily, and
didn't like to be in icy weather.

<<<<< Pocono Lyme >>>>>, I wonder if maybe the uniformed ladies, kneeling in prayer that you viusalized, may be the Lord's showing you, many of His servants/prayer warriors praying for you!!!

<<<<< God Tho'ts Warriors >>>>>, Thanks again for sharing,in the good times, and in the hard times!!! May the Lord bring His healing and comfort to each one!!!

The discussion about Salvation and healing is wonderful!!! A friend of ours witnessed a baby in the East Indies, born w/ no eyes, be miraculously healed, and develop eyes.

Yes,it was wonderful, but w/o the Lord, and the parents coming to know Jesus,it might never have happened.

Every soul that comes to the Lord, and follows Him is a miracle!!! Whether or not we get healed here on earth...

I was inspired by Krys', as she prayed, and talked
about her situation. She said I'd like to stay here on earth longer, but it is in Gods hands.

She is hopeful of good news when her lab reports come back, but said whatever happens I am just giving this to the Lord.

Mostly she wants to be here to serve the Lord, and to, hopefully, see her family saved. She has had to live w/ family, because of financial issues.

Gotta close for now,but wanted say hi!!!

I am the best I can be... go to doctor monday for broken bones.. ugh..

Let’s pray.
“God, we thank you and praise you that you are with us.
May we see you today.
Fill us with the joy of your presence.

Give us a desire, a longing to seek you more and more in every way,

to cry out to you, and know that you are the best and only thing we have.

Our rock, our strength, our security, our hope, our stronghold.
Teach us, Lord, to be honest with you, to submit to you and to allow your grace to transform our hearts.

In the name of our precious Lord Jesus, who for the joy set before Him shed His blood. Amen.”

Woof....feeling better. Prayers keep me afloat!

Please pray....my grand niece is a missionary in Africa. Her four year old son had bad tummy pain that grew increasingly worse each day. It took them 3 days to get to a missionary hospital, and the appendix had ruptured.

He had surgery this morning and all went well, but we now would like prayers for healing and recovery.

Praise God, people die in the US with a ruptured appendix. Only God could keep that little boy alive til he received care.

It is a hard, rough, unforgiving life. Air is dirty, water dirty, malaria for the whole family- on and off-, and lots of parasites.
Limited resources.....etc

Thank you for your prayer, God bless

<<<<< God Tho'ts Warriors >>>>>,

Hi there, prayers going up,that all are getting better!

<<<<<< Payne >>>>>,your in our tho'ts and prayers, for bones, nerves, tendons, and muscles to heal rapidly!

<<<<< Dogsandcats >>>>> Praising the Lord, that the young great grand nephew was able to get to a good hospital finally. Our Lord is awesome in His healing power, love, mercy and grace!

We got to go to the Hopsital to visit w/ Krys', she was doing okay, but still fighting a lot of pain. She called a bit ago, and is really concerned and nervous. They are sending an oncologist to talk w/ her.

She was hoping they got all of whatever was the problem w/ the five cysts/tumors they removed. She is asking for more prayer as she goes thru this.

Krys' has gone thru some really difficlt situations, besides the infections, gall bladder surgery, appendectomy that she's had to go thru.

Last May, she was wheeling to church in her chair, and some nut stabbed her in the leg, because she had no money and they wanted money.

It took a long time to heal, because she gets infections so easily. A few years ago she was hit by a drunk driver, and was laid up in hospital for months.

Some how she manages to keep a sense of humor, but she said tonight she is so tired of all the physical issues and all the stresses and strain.

If the Lord brings her to your memories, please keep her in prayer. When we left today, she was trying to smile thru the pain.

<<<<<< Pocono Lyme >>>>>>, any more news? I hope you are feeling better each day!!!

<<<<< Lymetoo >>>>>, how are you doing, is y'alls weather getting any better?

Ours is weird, it getting hot way too soon which can cause flash floods out here in the
desert. But we just couldn't do the snowy icey weather, and the wildfire seasons mess any more up in SE Idaho.

Sadly there was a bad fire above us in the mountains last year, but it doesn't come near the house, like it did three different times in Idaho.

Gotta go for now, Prayers for Gods peace and safety, for all,and fro His Healing touch... In Jesus name Amen!
