Hmmm... I tried to text you back and then my phone died. I had to get a loaner phone today and it was not charged up. My old one finally bit the dust.
I saw what you texted me. The Dr you mentioned is not the greatest. Is that why you are saying they are suspect?

They are generally a fine organization. Hopefully chatting with Lymetoo and others will help you figure out what happened.

I don't think that that is possible that they are being taken over by the IDSA, thank heavens! If they recommended a doc that isn't good, it was surely because they didn't know. Call them and speak to them about it. They don't vouch for the quality of all the docs, they can't. But they try to only recommend good docs.

I did my best. I have a lot of practice just letting families go-and i will do it
So sad. Evil disease.

There are plenty of LLMD's who use LabCorp.. We have to take what we can get these days.
I would just ask for authorization to test thru Igenex.

I wouldn't trust it. Labs other than Igenex don't report all the bands. Stonybrook will only if asked.

He may want to see if you are positive on the crummy Labcorp test first because I think you can be reimbursed by insurance if you are so it definitely isn't as good as Igenex but it's kind of good to know where you stand on the crummy test.

The only CDC positive test I had was through Labcorp.
I had 2 done through Igenex (both were Igenex positive, but CDC negative).
