I just wanted to share some good news. My daughter is a 16 y/o who's had lyme and babesia for at least 4 years. We got her diagnosed recently by her LLMD, and she started treatment 2 1/2 weeks ago (starting with really low doses and increasing slowly).
Anyway, she had developed an intractable headache about 6 weeks ago. The headaches had been frequent before that, but would go away eventually. But I'm so excited, that she has had no headache now for 3 days!
It just reinforces that we are really on the right track. This is the first time in years that something has gotten better instead of just getting progressively worse.
On the down side, she is herxing with increased joint pain, tremors and anxiety. But happy to see the head pain resolved.
