Whenever I eat any kind of nuts I start belching uncontrollably afterwards. Is this a stomach sensitivity issue, food senstitivity issue, does anyone with lyme experience this issue? Does anyone have remedies for this reaction besides the obvious. I want to learn about this effect because I believe it is key to discovering a larger issue.

I do know that nuts are hard to digest. Some are harder than others.

On the Body Ecology Diet they only recommend sprouted almonds in the early stages of the diet. You soak them for at least 8 hours and peal the shell coating off.

That makes them easier to digest.

I would say that belching after eating them means your gut is in bad shape. Are you having any issued with candida?

My gut is in the worst shape, I habe a white coating on my tongue which forced me to completely change my diet, i eat potatoez, chicken and squash this works for me. I have tried garlic, coconut oil and herbs and flucanozole for candida. Gatlic works bUt burns my sensitive stomach in the process.

Consider gallbladder issues.

Might also consider taking digestive enzymes with meals...

Any chance you can add some green vegetables to the mix?? That is not a healthy diet.

White tongue means candida all the way down.

I can't use garlic either. Nope.

Soaking nuts overnight in either 10pH water, or in water with apple cider vinegar added, or even in plain buttermilk will help.

Also almonds are bad for me too. Soaked or not.

Is it all nuts?

Try soaking-will help.

@Lymetutu I'll switch out the squash for raw zuchinni, the squash was very sweet. I'll also add carrots.

@At razzle , I have to do my gall bladder research

@GretaM, I'll just avoid nuts
