Hi <<<<< LymeNet family >>>>>,

Haven't been posting lately because of headaches. I think its weather related and of course the Lyme and Co's but its been ferocious.

TxCoord tries to help me get out of the house a couple times a month, and I stay home in air conditioning otherwise.

We were able to get some Andrographis, a few weeks back, and that helps sometimes. There is a desert monsoon season here, with all the storm pressures.

I haven't been able to get to our church much because of some other physical issues, so I stay pretty quiet.

I just wanted to check in... be back in awhile...going to Medical here, to ask a question.

Other than fighting Lyme and Co's.and headaches. We are both hanging in here.

Good to hear from you both. Sorry you are housebound, but glad you have A/C!

Headaches and weather are a nasty combination. I don't tolerate heat well either.

Take good care....

Hi <<<<< Dogsandcats >>>>>,

We knew it was going to be really hot weather, when we moved here, but I think it woke up some of the Lyme and Co's bugs, they don't like the heat I don't think.

I think I'll imagine the darn bacterium slow roasting... take that, and that blasted bacterium...

It is really beautiful most of the time, just super hot. I've gone out to the front porch and sit with a fan on occasionally, to watch the sunset, and get a t little 'heat therapy',as it
were. But i have to stay in when the headaches get to awful.

Fall weather will be here in a few more weeks [ read under 100* degrees ],and I'll see if the headaches lessen a bit more. I did a bit better in fall last year, other than bronchitis type issues.

I should, say,it would have been better last fall if I hadn't sprained one, ankle and broke the big toe on the other foot. I may have to invest in bubble wrap slippers...

I have the door open and a fan blowing in cool air now but im kinda nervous. Next town over is having a bear priblem and they are telling us to be careful. Therr should be plenty of food in the woods for the bears right now. I dont know if they are lazy or sicklike the moose or what

I'll go check out your other post. Take care

Howl howl howl

I hate the heat too.

Muggy and hot and my brain feels like a watermelon that has sat too many days in the sun.

Sorry you have headaches with heat too.

Haha slowroasting the bugs...I like that!

Do you have a ice gel Pak? (those blue squooshy ones?)

I wrap one around my head with a scarf-helps reduce heat head pain.

Awwoooo wooo howl

Hi there <<<<< 'kayak, and Pack sis Greta >>>>>,

This is like Old Wacky Wild West down here [with sort of a mobster twist, instead of a lemon twist]. At least we don't have to live right in the tourist trap zone. But one has to be watchful here because of the criminal element.

It's definitely not Idaho, altho' Idaho can get way to hot too. Idaho also gets way,way to cold, and icy during winter.

Here in Nevada we might hit 20* degrees for a low,for a week or two, usually late Dec. or early Jan. The hottest I've seen here so far was
118*,but it is only the beginning of August.

There aren't any bears near us, but now, coyotes, yup. The road runners are funny, but if they are in your area they are hunting creepy things, like scorpions and snakes.

I haven't seen the famed desert tortoise yet,but we've seen quail, and desert hare. needless to say,w/ some of the wild life both animal and human we are very cautious about leaving doors open.

Power was down last year late spring for almost three days,no fun in the desert. And sometimes they shut the water off 'to work on lines' with no warning... also not cool.

We are praying the VA gets going, so we can get the proper disability pay for TxC' and move
into a slightly better area soon. We have some more help working on our case, so will see what occurs. Its almost half a decade of waiting now...

Well,at least when it isn't monsoon season, it helps my sinuses ease. And taking the help from the heat,I can bake those ornery bacterium.

The headaches should lessen more soon, as things cool off a bit so that's something good to look forward to.

I use both hot and cold packs to fight the headaches. Some how it works,I put heat on my
neck, and a cold pack on my head. And occasionally I'll get my magnets out too, Interesting fashion statement with things tied to my head, and a hat over it... LOL!!!

Here's my silent howl... OWOOoohoooooahhhowwwooo!!!

A homeopathic remedy called Glonoinum can be very helpful for headaches caused by hot, sunny weather. Can be taken as preventative, or after onset of symptoms. Won't interact with meds.

My family has found tremendous relief from this.

Not sellin' anything, just sharing what's been helpful for us.

Hi <<<<< Razzle >>>>>,

Thanks for the Glonoinum info', will see if someone in our area Carries homeopathics at a really low price [ we are on a limited single income here].

If I can find it in area or on-line,inexpensively,I'd sure try it. I appreciate the input!!!

Hi <<<<< Lymetoo >>>>>>,

It's been nice catching up, hope y'all are doing well!

The headaches, are staying in the background the last day or so... wish I could get it totally stopped. Somedays,it pounds really bad and then it makes my eyes water.I don't go anywhere when that happens.
