Went to the er yesterday for bad stomach pains.

After many tests it's been determined I have to have my gall bladder removed.

I don't have stones but it's not working anymore and the rest of my body is suffering because of it. There's no fix for it.

I'm only 29 and I am hoping this is the answer to my medical issues we haven't been able to figure out. Surgeon thinks it's been failing for some time and all of the times I thought I was having a stroke it's been my gall bladder not working [Frown]

Super nervous. It's my first surgery. He also thinks it stopped working because of bacteria. Aka lyme.

Wish me luck!!!!

Hopefully, surgery will be laparoscopic, meaning just 2 tiny incisions.

That should be a breeze! Totally different from being cut open.

Let us know how it goes.

It was the easiest abdominal surgery i had. My sx was nausea and it was immediately gone. Good luck.

When I have surgery, I try- right before the put me out- to think of something that brings me great peace.

Think of your family, Jesus, ocean- what ever brings you peace.

I have heard what you go out with- you wake up with.
Hopefully peace! It has worked for me.....

Drink loads of water after to flush the anesthetic out...

Prayers for you...

Hi all, thanks for your thoughts! I'm doing well, surgery went well and he said it's been inflamed before so this should Def fix the problem.

Much love to you all more healing to come!
