Calvert County, Maryland, the medical community, and many patients suffered a huge loss yesterday. Rafik Aboul-Nasr, MD died suddenly on Sunday, December 21.
He was more than a doctor. He was one of the few doctors in the country who understood and effectively treated patients with Lyme disease and its associated complications. To many of us, he was a healer and friend. His presence will be sorely missed.
My prayers to all his family, friends and patients, as well as the community as a whole.

Dr Nasr has been my dr for over 20 yrs. He finally figured out what was wrong with me!!!! Lyme Disease!!!!!! He was the best dr around, so caring, so willing to try new things, so willing to share his info on natural remedies vs medicines.
I will truly miss this dr! Now on the search for a new dr just like him. Not even sure where to turn to find a new dr in our area!!!!

jjourneys - how tragic. We just went through a similar loss here, of a beloved LLMD who sounds like him in the manner of practice. It's hard on everyone. I hope you can find someone to work with.
