Meet others your age facing tick-borne disease challenges; learn about Lyme-friendly food, share a lunch; then jump in the heated pool for a mid-winter pool party!!
This event was inspired by another teenager who suffered from the painful effects of Lyme Disease. She felt isolated by her disease and, now, as a healthy adult, she wants to make sure current Lyme-fighting teens have a way to connect with each other.
Who: Youth ages 10 to 18 years suffering from tick-borne diseases; parents are invited to stay and network When: Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Where: Elmira YWCA at 211 Lake Street, Elmira, NY 14901 What: Aloha Hour: 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM - Meet and greet in separate areas – one for parents . . . one for kids Luau: 12 PM to 1 PM – Lyme friendly lunch Beach Time: 1 PM to 2 PM – pool party!! Cost: FREE!! But you do have to reserve your spot on or before January 14, 2015
