Well this brings weird thoughts. She asked me for my mail addy to send me some butterbur for alternative treatment. She sent me a Vit B2 and another pill vegi concoction. Now know one has heard from her.
Do not give anyone addy no matter what. I feel a bit stupid for doing this.

I do know who her lyme doctor is , but I only know her real first name. Anyway, a doctor wouldn't give out any info about a patient and she may not want us to bother her right now.
I don't know why she is MIA from the board but I sure hope she is Ok.
I'd like to think she won a month's vacation in Hawaii and she's out enjoying herself!

Ok - so that's what's happening - we were all wondering - too bad - hope you can at least recover from your foot problem. It can take like 2 months for the bones to grow back, then you may need some PT, so it can be like 6 months to get back to close to normal again. It'll be its own process.
You have lots of friends here, so feel welcome to post as you wish, even if you don't feel good.

hmm..trying to think of a way to keep in touch with you.
let me know if you think of a way. maybe emails?? then we can read them when health allows.
right now my vision is lousy but do have times when it is better.
texting would most likely be too costly for Canada
ah...how many neuro lymies does it take to keep in touch

Greta I am so glad you checked in! So sorry about your foot. And the resurgence of the evil buggers! The one tiny bit of hope I can offer is, I made great strides with Lyme when I broke my ankle. I think the forced rest really helped me get a leg up. I hope you can relax into the downtime and just take care of yourself. Is your mom with you?
Hugs to you.

<<<<<< Greta-pack sis' >>>>>,
Glad you checked in, sorry you've injured the foot.
I got dumped out of our good easy chair, a couple weeks back, in the middle of the night, wrists are still a bit sore and swollen, ankles too. I sleep in chair most nights, and the mechanism stuck, when I tried to get up.
All of us Lyme folk who injure easily should maybe invest in bubble wrap and cotton batting, for making our own safety cocoons or something!
I hope you heal quickly!

Hi again,
<<<<< 'Kayak' >>>>>,
Seems like there are so many of us that injure very easily from all this illness.Lyme and Co's can be so difficult to cope with.
Sorry to hear you had a chair incident too,I was so startled when the thing stuck, don't know why it did. The whole chair slipped forward, and I slid right out onto the floor.
Still some tender areas from that, are you and Etta-doggy okay? That can be painful for a long while.
And Greta, I'll be keeping you in prayer, TxC' and I pray each evening, and try to include our Lyme family as well,as relatives, friends, church family and so on.
So much is going on, I keep wishing there was some central location we could all meet in. It would be nice, some place where there was medical staff, and so on that understood our issues.
And food that was safe for us to enjoy while we all get acquainted. It is of concern that many are alone,or w/ only a bit of family and often them having health issues too.
Visit here online when you feel able Greta, we may not get to meet in person, but at least we have LymeNet for us all!
