I find myself in this position of late.....still so sick and sometimes, all I could hope for is for someone to say "it will be all right" or just give me a hug.
I don't want to talk about "my" disease b/c nobody really listens or wants to know. Learned that so I'm left thinking, what would make me feel a little bit better? A hug, a kind word, and a wish for your life to be better tomorrow.
So, for anyone in the group who just needs this comfort .....I'd like to offer it to you.
Not much more I can accomplish today but if I made some lonely/sick/sad person better, here it is for you.

Thank you all so much for the return hugs.......means the world to me that people understand how lonely this disease is. And how alone we all are.
Triple hugs back to you all, whether you responded or not. I don't think there is anyone who doesn't need at least one every day.
Just...thank you. Posts: 867 | From PA | Registered: Jan 2006

Many many hugs to all of you!!!! It is a horribly painful & usually lonely disease. Just know there are other lymies right besides you. As only another Lyme patient can truly understand!!!

All of the wisdom, courage and kindness displayed on this website are astounding in the face our suffering.
I feel the same loneliness that many have described. I pray that we all will find a friend, something each day to make us smile and hope for the future.
