I'm sure I speak for others on here.
Kids fighting tick borne illnesses break my heart.
Kids need to be kids and lyme robs them of that. Heartbreaking.
If I had the choice between myself getting better, or trading so that a kid could be cured from lyme I would trade in a heartbeat. Kids have so much life to live and things to experience.

I couldn't read the whole thing as it hits too close to home. There is nothing I wouldn't give to have had my kids just live a normal life, nothing.

I think about all these kids each and every day, it breaks my heart.
It actually helps me get through my really tough days – my pain is nothing compared to there’s.
Just not fair, no child should have to suffer in pain every day.
