Oh my goodness, it's been so long since I posted on God Thought, I had to actually think about and pray about what my pass code was.

I wanted to share that, yes, I still have this nasty Lyme Disease, but with God all things are possible and He gives me the strength and courage to make it through my days, and most days I do very well. I could not do it on my own.

It took this disease to bring me to God back in 2010 and I have not regretted one minute of turning my life over to Father God.

One of the very first Christian songs my new ears heard was on God Thought. May it bless you as it did me, 5 years ago.
I called, You answered me

Hebrews 12:1-2 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses,....And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.

Hebrews 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

It is good to hear from you. I think about you often. Your faith and gentle spirit always inspired me.

I, too, still have the symptoms of this disease. But I am learning to trust the One who knows all things intimately. He is so near to the brokenhearted.

Soccermama.... Aw, you warmed my heart. Thank you for your sweet kind words. I spend time on Fb with several God Thought family members, but my heart still has brought me here, to the ones I don't have on Fb and for new family members that I have not yet met. May we encourage one another. This is home for me and I have missed my intimate time in fellowship here.

The song you posted, WOW!!! that song was my song all last year and the very beginning of this year. God is so faithful and I learned so much in the desert.

Psalm 33:21 In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His holy name.

I love this saying: "If you fall in the mud puddle, check your pockets for fish." Sort of like when life hands you lemons, make lemonade. When you find yourself in the problems of life (the mud puddle)look for the blessing He will give(fish in your pockets)!

Lymetoo....Girl! LOL like you don't "see" me enough on FB!? Thank you for long time past (2010) encouraging me! Hugs to you.

MDW, what you said sounds so much like me! It took a debilitating, chronic illness to bring me to my knees...and even then, it was tooth and nail -- a bit at a time, one step forward, three back.

But He never gave up on this wretch. [bow]

Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.

Lymieloo... Good morning! Thank you for sharing. Yes, those steps can be real tricky, I some times still trip, but we have a loving Jesus who catches us and doesn't let us fall. Where would we be without Him!? Seriously... in that dark place I never want to be...again. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his gracious love is everlasting (Ps. 136:1)

Hi MDW and all my other God Thought and fb friends!

Love the songs!

I thank God that He continues to shape and encourage me.

It is through the hardest times with illness and other struggles that the Lord has taught me so much.

I pray He continues to teach me everyday. I need it everyday.

Praying for all of you, and the whole broken world.

Love to you all!

Good eve Lymieloo,

God Thought is a thread that began back in 2009 by daisyrlb. She began posting scriptures on a daily basis to encourage us. Give us hope. Soon the thread door began opening wider and wider for us to have fellowship together and encouraging one another on a deeper level. Beautiful how God works. We share what's on our hearts...the good times and the bad times. We are here with God leading His thread called God Thought.

We laugh together. We cry together. We pray together. We love together. We are family.

Good morning God Thought family.

Right foot. Left foot. Heal to toe. One foot in front of the other.

I was walking around tonight in a place that looks like perfection on earth (European outdoor mall) and feeling sad. Lush, colorful flowers in front of every store, cobblestone walkways, and music in the background. Trees planted in rows with twinkly lights and sounds of people having dinner with laughter. I was feeling sad because man goes about life not realizing it can be snatched from him any second, man lives on this side without thoughts of His end. Life is fragile and so are the things we cling to. The only certainty is the world to come, in a "Kingdom which cannot be shaken" (Heb 12:28). I was looking at those trees thinking it's better to be a, "planting of the Lord", yielding my one fleeting life wildly to Him, than to have all the riches of this life. I can't wait to be in the city of God.

"To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of heaviness So they will be called oaks of righteousness, *The planting of the LORD*, that He may be glorified. Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins, They will raise up the former devastations; And they will repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations"

I am the Lord, and there is no other;
apart from me there is no God.
I will strengthen you,
though you have not acknowledged me,
so that from the rising of the sun
to the place of its setting
people may know there is none besides me.
I am the Lord, and there is no other.
Isaiah 45:5-6

He is faithful to us as a witness of His character not as a sign of our faithfulness.

Blessed be the name of the Lord!

Praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! The Father is a merciful God, who always gives us comfort. He comforts us when we are in trouble, so that we can share that same comfort with others in trouble. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 cev

Soccermama... So true! His faithfulness is anchored to character and to His eternal principles as declared in His Word. He is called:

The faithful witness
The faithful and true witness
and He that is true.

Behind His gracious words was a faithful and consistent life. Wow. Read Psalm 89.

Okay, I think it's time to start another week....

Jesus, meek and humble of heart, hear me.

From the desire of being esteemed, deliver me, Jesus.
From the desire of being loved, deliver me, Jesus.

From the desire of being extolled, deliver me, Jesus.
From the desire of being honored, deliver me, Jesus.
From the desire of being praised, deliver me, Jesus.

From the desire of being preferred to others, deliver me, Jesus. From the desire of being consulted, deliver me, Jesus.
From the desire of being approved, deliver me, Jesus.

From the fear of being humiliated, deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear of being despised, deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear of suffering rebukes, deliver me, Jesus.

From the fear of being calumniated, deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear of being forgotten, deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear of being ridiculed, deliver me, Jesus.

From the fear of being wronged, deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear of being suspected, deliver me, Jesus.

That others may be loved more than I,
Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it.

That others may be esteemed more than I ...
Jesus grant me the grace to desire it.

That, in the opinion of the world, That others may increase and I may decrease ...
Jesus grant me the grace to desire it.

That others may be chosen and I set aside ...
Jesus grant me the grace to desire it.

That others may be praised and I unnoticed ...
Jesus grant me the grace to desire it.

That others may be preferred to me in everything...
Jesus grant me the grace to desire it.

That others may become holier than I, provided that I may
become as holy as I should…
Jesus grant me the grace to desire it.
