Does anyone know who treated Avril? I'm a big fan of hers and it was shocking to see her come out about the Lyme and the struggle she had getting treatment. Apparently she is now saying she is doing much better and on the road to 100%. Anyone have any idea who is the doctor behind getting her there?

- Not saying that she is not better nor "on the road to 100%" yet, kindly, I would not put too much into that.
No one knows the complexity or timeline - no one. And, what do / did WE all tell everyone? The same thing at that point in time. And we thought the rest of the road surely would be smooth.
Look at all your best options for a LLMD in your area, ask around at all the surrounding lyme support groups, online groups, etc.
Considering the doctor who may be treating someone in the public eye seems logical as long as the decision includes a thorough research method to find all options. -

I was on the road to recovery and had a total relapse a year into treatment. This is def the most frustrating disease. Perhaps April will get lucky due to catching it fairly early, or she might be shocked later on if her health dive bombs!
As for celebrities, the Olsen girl sounds really sick too, she's pretty quiet but it sounds like she's very sick too.

Really interesting - would love to hear more details on her treatment and who she went to. I think that's key in getting any help with this cursed illness.
