A woman's right to choose, stem cell research, selling off our stored oil reserves, and prizes for NIH researchers supported by a Hopkins doctor/Congressman, and the list goes on and on.

These non-Lyme topics were all included in the Lyme bill/Cures 21st Century Act that recently passed the House.

More info here

Mention of a few amendments

Just wanted you to know a vote for the Lyme bill isn't just a vote for a Lyme bill. Many lives will be affected in many other ways. Please be sure to read the actual bills before supporting or not supporting them and get the facts, THEN make an informed decision.

Thanks for the information. So sad to hear that it's not a clean bill, just on its own. The piggy-back amendments that have nothing to do with each other really can cause havoc in many ways. Sigh.

This is the norm, unfortunately.

I personally don't care what's tacked on. I just want $hit done.
