I think you should be honest and tell her that people mistake long term lyme so often because they are feeling awful after the initial infection or they had positive antibodies. Sometimes it may be long term lyme and sometimes lyme sets off a series of autoimmune problems in the body which can lead to anything.
I've definitely found the more I push, the less the dr's want to buy in. It's better to plant the seed and let the Dr come to her own conclusions.

It seems like the only ones that are truly open or sympathetic are the ones who've had it themselves.
Maybe infect her with some of your blood on the sly

You know, I just looked at the ILADS site again and the President's message right up there in plain site is excellent!
If it was there yesterday and I'm sure it was, I totally missed it. I was distraught over my PCP visit so I'll blame it on that and my partially functioning brain.
I'm printing it out and hope I have the courage to bring with me next time.
