I haven't posted in a while but I wanted to put this out there in case anyone is interested.
Anthony William is a VERY well respected medical intuitive that has helped many people recover from chronic illness, including Lyme. He is doing a radio show today on Hay House radio discussing the unknown cause of Lyme disease. It's at 5pm eastern time. All you have to do is go to the website and sign up for the free account:
Hayhouseradio.com
If you are interested in listening, I would go a few minutes early to register, as it takes a few minutes. I know this is kind of out there but I'm really excited to hear his thoughts about Lyme and I thought maybe others on the board might too.

- The thing is that the cause is not unknown. So, that's a very perplexing that they think it is. -

Sure, my pleasure! I'll take notes and post a summary. I have a feeling that some of his thoughts may be controversial so please remember...I'm just the messenger 😊.

-Anthony William is a medical medium that has been hearing spirit directly in his ear since age 4. He diagnosed his grandmother with lung cancer at that age which was later confirmed by her doctor.
-Since then, he has helped tens of thousands of people recover from illness, especially people with mystery illnesses.
-Lyme is one of the most misunderstood diseases of our time. The confusion around Lyme is shocking and he wants to help us heal from the "Lyme trap." He said that this is one of the hardest shows for him to do because it comes with tons of baggage, misinformation and misunderstanding about what Lyme is. You can get more in depth information from his book coming out soon (you can pre-order on Amazon).
- He explains the "Lyme trap" with an image of a snowball filled with misinformation that starts rolling down a mountain, collects debris and eventually collapses onto a village, or humanity. People get sucked into the trap and he asked us to keep an open mind while listening to the show.
- He took us back in time to Lyme, CT, 1975. Several people were experiencing similar neurological symptoms, but they were symptoms that people were experiencing all over the world at the same time, even places where there were no ticks.
-Why is Lyme blamed on ticks? Because 1 of the people in Lyme said they had a tick bite a month earlier. None of the other people had a tick bite.
-About the bullseye rash: Ticks can cause a bullseye rash but so do spiders, horseflies, bees and other insects. Black flies actually cause more bullseye rashes than ticks. The bullseye is not borellia or bartonella, it's protein deposits from the organism that bit you. Some people get a rash, some don't. Bullseye rash does not mean Lyme bacteria, it's actually staph bacteria.
- If you have a pre-existing condition, then the bug bite is a trigger for the Lyme symptoms. A deer tick causes only .05% of Lyme cases because there are so many other triggers that cause someone to get sick.
-Triggers: There is a pre-existing condition in the body and then you get "triggered" by something. This then causes illness and Lyme symptoms. List of triggers: (in order of prevalence) 1. Mold exposure 2. Mercury filling removal 3. Pesticides/ Herbicides, after lawn or house are treated 4. Emotional trauma, broken heart, divorce, caregiving 5. Spider bite 6. Bee sting 7. Overprescribed meditaions 8. Swimming in ponds during algae blooms or ocean during red tide 9. Physical injury/car accident 10. Lanfill runoff 11. Carpet cleaning 12. Fresh paint in house 13. Insomnia from worry 12. Tick bite
-*Lyme is not bacterial and not from a tick
-*Lyme is VIRAL. It was always viral. We have dormant viruses inside us, the pre-existing conditions, that then come out when we are weak or triggered.
-We were first told it was borellia, then bartonella and babesia, more recently mycoplasma or other cofactors of infections. Now it's heading into the gene world. There is always a new bacteria for the "blame game."
-Those bacteria do not cause neurological symptoms and until we understand that as a medical community, we are going nowhere. We can have these bacteria present in the body but they are not causing the symptoms.
-Viruses that cause Lyme symptoms: HHV6- Herpes strain Shingles- over 30 varieties that can cause Lyme. They also can cause Bell's palsy, frozen shoulder and jaw pain Herpatic family viruses like HHV7, HHV9 and many more that haven't been discovered by science today, they cause the neurological symtoms Epsein-Barr virus- over 60 different strains Cytomegalovirus
- Lyme testing: The first tests for Lyme were faulty. The new fancy lab testing gives almost everyone a diagnosis of Lyme. These new lab tests are only as accurate as a c-reactive protein tests, they are only general titers, that test for elevated inflammation. You will trigger the titers in these tests if you have a virus due to increased levels of inflammation in your system. (I'm not sure I explained this part correctly. I don't have a medical background.)
-In the future, anyone with mystery symptoms will be diagnosed with Lyme.
-About Herxheimer: This is not die-off. Because people have all these viral issues, their nervous system is hypersensitive and inflammed. The nerves become irritated by the treatment that's being administered. This also happens with strong herbs and supplements.
-He's seen many people get sicker from wrong treatments. This has to be brought to light, the truth has to come out.
-Natural treatments help create an anti-viral effect, that's why they help some people.
-He said that hardest part of having his gift is knowing the truth and having to watch all the suffering that is going on out there. That's why he's talking about this now.
-Supplements to help Lyme symptoms: Lemon Balm- Non alcoholic, kills the viral load Thyme-kills viruses on contact, use in tea or on food, crosses the BB barrier Zinc- deficiency causes many Lyme symptoms Licorice root- clears viruses, all families Silver Hydrosol- the best is Sovereign Silver L-lysine Lomatium root- flushes viruses out Nascent iodine-strengthens the immune system
-Foods to eat for Lyme: Wild bluberries- heals nervous sysytem, most powerful food in the world Asparagus Radishes Celery Apricots-kills viruses Onions and garlic

- Thanks for sharing what he says. It is very important to know who out there is saying what, so that it can be sorted out - especially for those new to all this
and for those of us who may have friends or relatives listening who might soak up some of the lies or misinformation.
As is a common habit of those with lies, he mixes in some truths [yes, BLUEBERRIES are GOOD for us] but the base of his statement is built on a set of lies . . . the other suggestions for what can help can certainly be found with those who know the real science of lyme and what goes with it. He does not.
Sadly, he just contributes to the lie at the base of it. How could he actually say it's viral and not carried vector transmitted? That's just science. It's a bacteria.
He just wants to sell books to those who want to believe he's an expert and has got some magic for them.
Which, for those new to this, he is not and does not.
While lyme involves many things and assessment & treatment needs to be comprehensive, there are real experts that have sorted out a lot of this and, yes, for years they have also shone a light on other infections that can go along with lyme but that never changes the fact that lyme is a bacteria.
Don't let him fool you just because he mixes in a few good pieces of general nutrient advice, he's got the base of this all wrong.
Lyme, itself, MUST be fully understood and adequately & assertively addressed. All the blueberries & other good nutrients in the world won't change that. Lyme MUST be dealt with.
start here for the those who know about lyme and other tick borne and other chronic stealth infections:
Why Can't I Get Better?: Solving the Mystery of Lyme and Chronic Disease

- Also for anyone new to all this who wants to explore nutrient & alternative factors:
When considering herbal / nutritional / adjunct methods, because lyme is so very complex & unique, as are possible coinfections:
if at all possible - because each person & each case is different - it's best to consult with an ILADS-educated LL ND (lyme literate naturopathic doctor) (or similar) who has completed four years of post-graduate medical education in the field of herbal and nutritional medicine -
- and someone who is current with ILADS' research & presentations, past and present, and has completed the ILADS Physician Training Program (see: www.ilads.org )
so they really know all they can about the science of lyme . . . how lyme (& other TBD) act and what we can do about that in various ways.
Many LL NDs incorporate antibiotics (depending upon the licensing laws in their state). Some LLMDs and LL NDs have good working relationships.
When possible, it's great to have both a LLMD and LL ND and even better when they have a long-standing professional relationship.
Herbal Safety considerations & reference books; etc.
Links to many articles and books by holistic-minded LL doctors of various degrees who all have this basic approach in common:
Understanding of the importance of addressing the infection(s) fully head-on with specific measures from all corners of medicine;
knowing which supplements have direct impact, which are only support and which are both.
You can compare and contrast many approaches with links to articles, books, methods . . .
BODY WORK methods / links (and why anyone who works on your spine MUST be LL to the degree they at least know to never suddenly twist neck or spine. Never. Ever. And that we should never be advised to do neck / head / shoulder stands.)
RIFE & BIOPHOTON, MILD HYPERBARIC OXYGEN, etc. links included here, too. -

Linnada, anyone can say anything. I could say the moon is made of green cheese, and let's go get some, and don't forget the mayo. Most of what he is saying is flat out wrong. He probably wants to sell his book and make some money.
You need to check out the science more in this field. The borrelial bacteria do cause Lyme, Lyme is not a virus, I haven't heard that the bull's eye rash is a staph infection, we know other insects do transmit Lyme, we can have other health problems but they do not cause Lyme, a herx is a die-off of the organisms, etc, etc.
This reminds me of someone who presented himself as a "breatharian" at the Whole Life Expo - yes, he said he lived on breathing only and did not need to eat. People came to his booth and stared at him!! Later he was caught eating at a late-night food place!

linnada, thank you for taking the time to take notes and type them out.
Just wonder why the studies that have tried antivirals haven't been able to show a cure.

Linnada, it's called testing hypotheses. For example, I didn't know I had Lyme. When I found out - ie, I tested positive, I then treated with clindamycin antibiotics and my 25 years of pain went away in a week's time. Clindamycin treats bacteria, not viruses.
Antivirals do not successfully treat Lyme; they can treat other viruses that people may have at the same time.

You're welcome dogmom2. I'm reading his new book now and the Lyme chapter has a little bit more information. He doesn't talk at all about pharmaceutical anti-virals, just foods and herbs that fight viruses. Maybe the herbs work better than pharmaceuticals to fight viral infections?
On a personal note, I had a consult with him in March and have been following his protocol since then with great results. I still have a few issues, which I feel are energetic imbalances. I'm working on those with another technique and have seen some progress there also.

I agree with those saying there is very little truth there about lyme disease.

Re viruses, many have them too and treat them. People can have a lot going on, not just the Lyme bacterial infection. It's good to think well-rounded when looking at the total health picture for patients. Happy to hear you're doing better - just remember that Lyme can be accompanied by a soup of other health challenges.

- While, as Robin says "It's good to think well-rounded when looking at the total health picture for patients" that is not the same as buying into someone who is misinformed about lyme and spreading falsehoods. If they think, say, "teach" that lyme is a virus, they have proven they are not informed.
Look to those who know the science of lyme, and what all goes with that. Yes, it includes viruses but that does not make lyme a virus. Not in any way, shape or form. -

This bacterium can be looked at under a high-powered microscope. It can be seen going through tissues, in both animals and people. It's a known entity.

Hmmm, then why when I relapse, do the bullseye rashes reappear at the exact bite site of the tick?

I have the actual pictures of my Lyme spyrokeets .
Had the test twice I can see the cause !!!!!!!!
And also the Babs inside my red blood cells, each cell blown up the size of a dime.
I do think that sometimes the Lyme changes to a viral DNA to avoid being killed by the ABX, as well as the cyst , L form, and hiding ones under the bio films.

There is a huge viral component to the chronic lyme picture as lyme and viruses both down regulate immunity allowing the other to gain ground.
Certainly his food and lifestyle recommendations are only beneficial, to anyone with chronic illness. Maybe viruses are the primary component for those with ongoing symptoms. Its a cat and mouse.
But, there absolutely is a lyme bacteria component too. Remember the study when the lyme patient, for science purposes, attached a healthy tick onto himself, let it feed, and then after a few days the tick was tested and sure enough it then had lyme spirochetes in its previously healthy tick body (this was featured in an issue of Prevention Magazine)?
And, many take antivirals meds and we all use many, many antiviral herbs and supplements already. Regardless of the cause, no one can deny that abx get many people full into remission which is the most important thing, right? . Anyone I have met with chronic lyme is a pretty impeccable, clean eater already...
I respect his information and he obviously is confident that viruses are the biggest issue in this picture. I will say, I know a few of my friends children have had mono and it has derailed their health and led to many new and ongoing health issues such as allergies, food sensitivities etc… Makes you wonder.
All in all, you take what resonates with you.
