Not sure if anyone posted this, but I knew that Dr. M. in Minnesota worked toward this 5 year extention.
"On November 8, 2014, the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice resolved to extend its moratorium regarding long-term antibiotic therapy for chronic Lyme disease for another five years."

Copying more of the text, as what was copied suggests a moritorium on permitting abx treatment. In reality, it is a moritorium on disciplining just for abx treatment.
"The board will not investigate or discipline physicians simply because they prescribe long-term antibiotics."
"In continuing the moratorium, the board recognizes that patient access to care should not be unduly hindered and physicians should be free to practice to the full extent of their training and abilities. The resolution specifically stated that the science remains unsettled and the agenda materials included a full copy of ILADS newest treatment guidelines for Lyme disease."
