Just so worn out by all this.

So sick of "symptoms", being exhausted sick and scared. My neck is swollen, I feel like I'm strangling all the time. Got five hours of sleep last night and the humidity is like a thousand percent.

Ughhh

Soft ice packs, rotate, really help. I always go to sleep with one and have one or two in the freezer to rotate.

So sorry what you are going through. I have seen it first hand. What a terrible disease. What about smelling something like a mint-ish sort of scent. Will that stop the strangulation feeling?? Is it Dysphagia?

Oh my gosh, I have no idea what this is. I want to rip my own throat out; and there's this weird sense of strain down my shoulders. Its not *really* dysphagia -- I can talk and swallow -- but it just feels like every tendon and muscle and bone in the whole neck area was taken apart and jammed back together wrong. It feels like my tongue doesn't remember how to sit on top of my windpipe.

It drives me crazy. It's not every day, but when it comes on a couple days in a row it's the most miserable thing on earth. I try stuff: ice, magnesium, self massage.

Ice does sometimes work a little -- hadn't thought of that Keebler, haven't tried it today.

The annoying thing is that if I did not have this symptom I would most likely feel pretty normal. But I can't feel normal because I want to rip my throat out.

WOW JORDANA!!!! Now with that description I CAN really appreciate the way you are relating it. Do you think it could be even a nerve that is pinched pretty badly???

Or maybe teeth in the sense that there might be a misalignment when you sleep at night? I think its called TMJ Dysfunction causing stress on your muscles???????

Whatever it is I hope it is something that can go away and is annoyingly minor. What does your llmd think???

I don't have an LLMD anymore really. The neuro thinks it could be myasthenia gravis but I'm afraid to try the medicine even though I've got it.

The only thing that really helps is to lie flat on my back most of the day and not ask my neck to do anything. I'd be worried thi is ALS but since I have so many other symptoms I kind of doubt it.

Yeah my cervical spine is a wreck.
