He went on a vacation a while back- dangerous stuff for some people- and I haven't heard back from him yet. Not typical for him. Getting concerned.

Anyone heard from him?

vacationing in the mountains ?!?

What's the address? When's the next train? Who's bringing the gluten free organic hot dogs?

We'll need to have a sing around the campfire. I could sure use some Kumbaya time.

And another volunteer for gluten and dairy free graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows for s'mores??!!

Thanks for making me smile, Keebler. [Smile]

I am back!!!

What a load of stories i have made!!!

New expirences I have had!!!

Drove out in my old Dodge diesel 4x4.

Camped back dirt and gravel forest roads!!In Colorado and Wyoming!! usually around 8 to 9 thousand feet.

My camp sight in Wyoming was BURNING!!!!!!!

Had to go 5 miles back on the other side of the mountains.

The Tetons were burning!!!!!! Between them and Yellowstone!!!!!!!

I drove the complete Medano Pass Road!!!
In one day. It is much worse than these pictures. eek never again!

Had the Cummins to the floor to get out of a sand pit, then the transmission over heat light came on. I did not hurt it!!

I do not think they did the whole trip it was so bad near the end.

I hope this works.

MADDOG

Sat in hot springs in two states!!

Loved the beauty and isolation of the drive. Around 17 minutes into the clip that water looked way too deep. What was worse, the rocks and sand or the water? You say when you drove it that it was worse? Can you imagine driving that in bad weather? Sheesh!

The sand pit was almost impossible,i did not want to go back so i drove all the way out.

The way out was very scary ,i wanted to camp up there at 10800 feet ,however I was so dizzy I drove on to get DOWN. Had I not done that i would not have got out it stormed and rained that night.

The mud on the other side would have been quick sand for my heavy truck.

I long for my old Suzuki Samuari it would have been at home there!!! No problems at all.
