Here's an interesting article from the Mercola site - doesn't mention Lyme per se, but discusses a lot of chemistry that could be upregulated in us, with some diet suggestions -

Thanks for that link. It's no surprise that INFLAMMATION can create depression . . . nor that there are so many influences that can cause inflammation.

Inflammation puts so much pressure on nerve endings, just one thing that can make the brain go a bit haywire.

My mood is always better on anti-oxidants that both supply key brain nutrients but also help decrease inflammation.

Gluten also can cause inflammation in the brain, so it makes sense that going gluten free helped reduce inflammation and depression for me.

Thanks, Keebler. Nice that you can see a difference via what you do.

I think I feel good on turmeric - easy to do, too - I just get it in bulk at the health food store and dip empty capsules in it - take a couple a day. Great for pain reduction too.
