I'm still feeling like crap. horrific pain under my left rib.

then my sister calls. great...

my one sister has mrsa in her bladder and now it's gone to her kidneys.

this sister that called is on her third round of abx for a uti.

the last sister is being hospitalized with severe diverticulitis. they are on the way to good sam hospital now. the dr said her blood cell count is sky high.

she's supposed to fly to florida friday for her daughter's graduation from fsu.

I told them she shouldn't go but they said well you know her. she'll kill herself but she's going.

hope to gosh they keep her butt all week

well silver, it jus keeps coming don't it??

anybody else being hit???

*hugs* I'm so sorry. I really hope your sister doesn't fly to florida, and that all of you start feeling better!

I was feeling much better before Thanksgiving. Then developed a rash that spread all over my body. I saw my LLMD, who thinks that it's an allergic reaction to an herbal supplement that I started taking. So I had to stop taking it. Joint pain & feet burning worsened, brain fog is back.

Heard from my 2nd mom yesterday. She was at 80%-90% but crashed after Thanksgiving. She is as bad as when she first got lyme and nothing is working for her. I don't live close to her so I'm scared for her. I wanna fly home, but I can't.

Hoping this month flies by smoothly. The holidays stress and yucky cold/flu bugs make things worse.

Very sorry to hear that both of you are having a tough time. Randi .. hope your sisters do something to take care of themselves. Sooner or later they have to.

grakay .. If the rash does not clear up soon, consider Mast Cell Activation. You could have that along with Lyme. Salicylate sensitivity can also cause rashes. I'm unable to take ANY herbs.

I guess I cant take any either. oregano and caprylic layed me out flat. I react to everything.
I can take some abx, cowden I can tolerate.

I feel so screwed.

got update on baby sister. she's in until thursday. she is vomiting and has diarrhea, fever. tests showed extensive diverticulitis throughout lowercon to rectum. dr said its the worst kind to have, especially around the rectum.

mine was much higher up, easier to operate on.

well we'll see.

Wow...that's bad. I hope they can help her.

Randi .. don't rule out all herbs because you herx on them. The real test is if you can't take herbs AND you react to many foods and skin care products .. all containing salicylates.

Hi <<<<< randibear >>>>>,

Just saw this, we've been continuing to pray for our Lymenet family, and the loved ones.

I was so down yesterday I didn't connect that this was here. I am sorry to hear that there is so much illness. The diverticulitis situation isn't good, Nor the MRSA.

It seems like this year, the hits just keep coming. Your tenacity,in the midst of this is a blessing, it gives me hope, and others to I know.

The hits keep coming 'til as you said awhile back, we wonder who is next, who else will be called from this earth.

But ya know, seeing LymeNet family members, who keep going, and fighting illness, and keeping on is encouraging.

Please, rest when you can,but know that you make a difference for others...And I pray the Lord blesses you greatly.

When you are able ,keep us informed how you,and how your family is doing.

Many hugs coming your way, keeping you and your family in heart and prayers.
