Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone else with lyme has similar stomach issues as me and can describe what's actually going on medically. I also have mycoplasma.

I don't have digestive issues, but ever since I had a huge lyme flare up 4 years ago that led to my diagnosis, my stomach feels hard. It looks slightly bloated too.

To other people, it would just look like I'm slightly chubby, but I really really don't think that's the case.

Whether I eat a lot for weeks or don't eat much for weeks, it's like this, so it's not a diet/water intake issue. When I push in on my stomach, it feels hard (any time of day/night).

I like to describe it as if I'm flexing my stomach wall, except I'm not flexing (it's not as hard as if I was flexing, but shouldn't be this hard).

Lymph nodes in my stomach are also frequently hard/swollen. However it seems my whole abdomen is slightly bloated, all the time, for years, which is different than just swollen stomach lymph nodes I think...

I recently went to a nutritionist type doctor who did body reaction tests and he agreed my stomach was hard and it was strange, but he couldn't give more insight than that.

I've had it for so long it would be easy to say oh I'm just a little chubby but I know that's not what it is.

Can daily lymph node swelling cause this, even though it's my whole abdomen?

I have a lyme doctor, and I'm actually going to him this week, so I'll ask, but he always just says "yeah that's a possibility" or "that can happen" ...it's always so general and doesn't help.

He will just prescribe some unrelated medication to shut me up so I leave faster.

Thanks for any feedback

(breaking up the post for easier reading for many here)
