Hi <<<<< LymeNet Family >>>>>,

Stress,of course, can make everything worse. TrekC' and I are going thru a very stressful family situation. It is something that affects several people, and must be handled very carefully.

I do not include details, to avoid causing any hurt to anyone [from our own family and family friends] who may be watching our discussion.

We would appreciate greatly, agreement in prayer for peace, and reasonably swift conclusion to the matter that is causing stress and heartbreak to many in our family, and close friends.

Lyme Disease with the flu,and various other medical conditions, makes things even more difficult, but this is a matter that TrekC'and I must see thru' to it's conclusion.

Thank you to All who are willing to pray. We appreciate it greatly.

I'll check in later on...

Hi <<<<< randibear >>>>>,

Thanks so very much, sometimes it is discouraging, with too many things happening at once.

I know y'all have been going thru a lot lately as well. And now to top off the family situation. We've had yet another death in the family.

Just got word that Mario's cousin B* died.
He was well known and respected in his community.
With Cousin B' gone, and Uncle Buck, favorite uncle, dying about a month and a half ago.

None of this is easy, and with TrekC' still waiting for the VA to get him an Appt.,concerning his last hospitalization, and various factors that need to be checked. It is ridiculous, they are to allow him to use the *"Choice card".

He isn't being allowed to use the *card as yet, more delay tactics... more time w/o med's he needs. It increases the risk of some serious health problems.Along with the stress...[oh, he needs to see a specific type of Docto.r]

As I was saying to TrekC' alright-y then, when can we stop this Merry-go-round ride, it is not amusing in the least. There has to be a more relaxing gentler ride than this. He agrees.

I hope your family and/or friends, recover quickly...it seems so many things happen during the Holidays.

Thanks so much for the hugs, we can use them right now, especially.

Hi <<<<< HW88 >>>>>,

Thank you for the kind tho'ts , that's why I appreciate LymeNet so much. We can be here for each other, in times when family isn't there for us.

Trying hard to give this all to God and leave it with Him, We feel sadness and hurt, at many things that are happening.

I've been asking the Lord to help me to walk in love, and with grace and mercy toward those, who have made things more difficult.

A lot of 'let's bite our tongues and be as polite as humanly possible in given situations.' ,is happening,as is continuing prayer.

be back in a bit...

Hi <<<<< Lymetoo >>>>>,

Thank you so much, it means more than I know how to explain.

We were surprised to find out Cousin B* had passed altho' he was older, he was a sheriff[retired],and a JP as well, for many years. We know it happens, just made us sad.

As TrekC' said, he'd feel at least some better if they got things going for him to see the specialty Doctor. He needs the meds',and they have to check it to be sure it wasn't actually causing the issue he had a few weeks back.

Aarghh... well, I believe, God is working, and we are giving him the situations and letting him work. Both of us are trying hard not to worry,as that doesn't help.

We have to wait on this medical issue so wont be going anywhere, until he get's in to the specialist.

Something has to happen as we have at least another family trip to make, after the New Year.Hopefully we'll have the Appointment and some peaceful resolution to the family issues by then.

Silver, sent up a quick prayer and hoping things will ease up on you guys. Family strife is the HARDEST thing to deal with any time but especially when illness plays a part.

Sending this.......

Hey there <<<<< me, and aklnwlf >>>>>,

Thank you both for hugs and prayers,I just want to get over this flu, and take some time to grieve our loved ones, and friends who've died this year.

Christmas has always been special to me and to TrekCoord, and this season it is hard. We have a few decorations up but both have limited energy.

TrekC' gets out some, I've not been out very much,I seem to catch any bug that comes along. I keep hoping I can go to church just for a little bit I try to rest, in between laundry and a few other chores.

TrekC' cooks our meals usually, yesterday,I did his breakfast he was really worn out from Sunday. He loves the church folk, and tries to help all he can. And he comes back and does his best to take care of me.

It's just wearing on us both, and the outpouring of extreme anger from some in our family, against us, is difficult. I'm just a bit blue right now.

Thanks to each one who prays and sends hugs our way. It makes it easier to bear this difficult time.

I so wish we could all meet, Our LymeNet family is an incredible source of help and comfort!

I pray that each of y'all have a wonderful Christmas and New Years Holiday. May God,who is Light and Life and Love, give you many blessings for your help and kindness to others!

Hi Wolfie!

My nephew, Josh came over for dinner tonight. I made his favorite.... cube steak.

We were talking about our loved ones (my Dad and sister-Josh's Mom) and how much we miss them.

Josh said he thinks of his mother every day.

She was only 55 when she died 3 years ago.

It's bittersweet to come here on Lymenet and share so much of ourselves without meeting each other.

I agree with you that it'd be wonderful if we could.

Thank you for the wonderful holiday wishes!

I hope and pray that you two have an abundance of peace and joy in your hearts and home this year!

Love you!

[group hug]

Oh, dear, Silverwolfi, I'm so sorry to hear all this. The family difficulties on top of the medical issues is way too painful.

May you both be surrounded by God's protective love, completely cushioning you both from any negative influences. May any negativity bounce away immediately.

May TrekC get the medical care that he needs promptly. May both of you experience the love and comfort of the Lord now and through the holidays and always.

Hi there <<<<< aklnwlf,and Rumigirl >>>>,

Thanks so much for the tho'ts and replies, and the prayers and good wishes!!!

I truly find myself longing to meet each of you, for our LymeNet family to all get to meet one another. And the way and energy to do so,for all of us.

TrekC,and I wholeheartedly agree with those prayers, wishes and blessings. And we wish all our LymeNet Family, better health in the coming days and New Year,

... true peace, and joy, because joy can come even in hard times or sad times.

TrekC' really needs the med's and proper care, and a deadline is coming and we will act, if the VA does not. This is becoming dangerous. We appreciate the prayer for this to be accomplished so very very much.

Aklnwlf, most Holidays, for TrekC' and I have that sense of missing loved ones. Family and friends we love and cared about passed, near or/on my birthday, TrekC's birthday,

... Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter,Valentines Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years...and all since 2000.

I think I get a bit apprehensive around most any Holiday, because of this [there was even a family member death on April Fools day].

I pray about this ,because Special Holidays, seasons and events, are such special times for memories, family and friends. And it is sometimes hard to get thru, when family one loves is being intentionally distant.

Rumigirl, I love that about Gods protective love cushioning us from negative influence... and...any negativity bouncing away immediately.

It is special and precious to us, to read this prayers, and apply them. Our lawyer for the Estate,is a wonderful caring gentleman.

... And he frequently reminds us, not to let fear control us.
But to let Gods love, and grace be the controlling factor in our lives.

Thanks so much to every replier, and one who prays, and sends loving wishes.

Jus' Silverwolfi who loves y'all so much!

Hi <<<<< LisaK >>>>>,

[group hug] Yes, it is harder than normal this year, don't know all why. Part of ours was the death of a parent, that we had hoped to settle the estate peacefully.

It is really difficult, and seems like old hurts are being recalled and replayed. It saddens me greatly.

Thank you for the prayers, we'll keep you annd your family in prayer too. I know it has not been easy.

Prayers and hopes for God's peace to rule in our hearts and homes!

Love from Silverwolfi

Hi <<<<< LisaK >>>>>,

Thank you for the kind tho'ts and prayers!

This one of those years, when everything, seems to remind me of someone we lost. And certain ones among the family, are just not being very nice.

Since 2000 ,we've lost a lot of family and close friends, and my Dad passing on Fathers day this year, then some close friends, who died this year,...

and TrekC's Fave' Uncle passed about 7wks ago, And then a cousin on his side of the family, just a few days ago. Not sure I wanna check Facebook or e-mails right now, but I guess it is part of life.

I agree we need the Peace of God, more than ever in our families. It is not an easy time for so many.
