And they are featuring the "black-headed python". The reptile man picks it up and is showing the snake to the camera. Then he points out something right by the eye of the python.
IT WAS A TICK!!!! And there were many ticks all over it! Faulkner [reptile guy] pulled a couple of them off with tweezers.
But now I'm thinking - who knew?!?!?!
I used to associate ticks with "warm blooded" mammals - but here is a snake at night on a road in the outback of Australia staying "warm" on the road!
So . . . what if . . .
The snake [non-venomous] latches onto a small animal who escapes . . .
Or an unaware person is walking by and the snake latches on . . .
Things that make you say, "hmmmm"?

And yet the Australian government refuses to admit Lyme exists in their country.
Australians have to travel thousands of miles for treatment. In order to get well, it costs them thousands of dollars.
I think they have it the worst.
