Hi Folks it me again. I hope you are all hanging in there. That is what I am trying to do.

I don't want to alarm Lyme net with a post like last week saying I was in need to speak to somebody. .

But this has been just crazy and I was wondering if there might be somebody that has a heck of a lof of knowledge about this disease that might be available to drop me a call to see if they might be able to give me some advise.

Things are just not coming together and working out and I need to have talk if at all possible with somebody that might be able to give me some good advise.

I live in MA and I have medicare medicaid but is everything Cash,

I don't reallu want to post a long post just waondering if there is anybody from this area I might that might be available to have a=discussion with me and maybe give me some helping advise after they learn more about my situation. I love you all Larry

Hey Larry,

Sorry to say this forum isn't designed to provide trained support people for those who want a personal phone call. That typically is more of a support group thing.

The calls you already got were extra ordinary and the people who reached out were more than kind to do so, but that is generally not what we do.

If they weren't able to help you, and they are some of the very best, it is likely others won't be either.

Unfortunately, I contacted ALL of the support groups in your state, and after a day I only got one response from someone who was dealing with a family emergency, and the others all ignored the request for assistance.

Still, days later, NOTHING! No response at all.

WHAT'S THAT ABOUT MASSACHUSETTS?

Anyhow, you may need to write posts or PMs rather than trying to find trained, experienced, volunteer strangers to call you.

That said, if you do have specific questions (make a list if needed) that you can post, there are many folks here, so you would probably get some decent advise that way.

You've also been offered other people's emails and I, for example, haven't gotten any responses from you thru that route, even when checking on you. Nothing.

If talking is still your thing, perhaps a mental health counselor who is familiar with Lyme and the "ropes" would be willing to make you an appointment.

Here is one...

If insurance is a concern, perhaps the Department of Mental Health in your state can help to at least get you stable? Here is their website. You need to take current problems to the right source for answers.

Hope that helps!

Yeah, we don't usually call here, but we do discuss here - you can let us know here what's going on with your treatment so far and we can respond. Like I think you had a port put in and will receive medication that way? Is that correct? Is that happening or going to happen?

Also, you could see if someone from your state online chatgroup would like to chat with you. You can join them at https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/massachusettslyme/info

I generally will not call anyone unless I've known them online for quite awhile.

It takes too much out of me, for one thing, and it's also a risk. I'm not much of a risk-taker.

We are glad to help you where we can, Larry.

If you go to Support Groups in the menu on your upper left. you might find someone in your area to call.
