Social Security gave me a raise!!!!!

Then Medicare took it away on a 24 percent increase.

If i got like 80 bucks less my medicare would be paid for. And i could get other help but for a few bucks they abandon me.

its like the ol Kmart blue flashing light specials - marked up 50% then on sale at 25% off.. they make 25 % more and we got the deal of the century yikes.. we are moving forward towards the big black hole.. ho ho ho

Not me or Silver (as yet) but I think it's time we demand that Medicare cannot increase more than 1/2 of what Social Security raises.

I'm not sure yet. When did you get the letter?

If like to know if it is all of us on Medicare or how they pick and choose

Does it have to do with that tax bill?

The tax bill has not even been implemented yet. It can't be that. You know how slowly the wheels of government turn!

My Medicare did not go up and our SS is up. I don't get SS due to laws in Texas and Missouri. I think it's mostly due to the law in Texas since that is where my retirement originates. My teacher retirement super-cedes (sp) any SS.

Hubby gets a small SS check due to the side jobs he's always had.
