Someone named "O" who talks about autoimmune diseases and autoimmune secrets?

Evidently this person does "talks" and charges for booklets and DVD's.

Sounds shady that someone proceeds through the world with just an "O" to hide their real identity.

Go back to where you saw / heard of this "O" and ask them for more detail. Google gives nothing on such a search. An "O" is not much to go on for a search.

Hi all,

TrekC' wan't sure if he should just say initials... I don't think the man was a doctor, but we are unsure.

Someone sent us some info' and this guy mentioned a Doctor, I think, that we on LymeNet know of.

Fellow we are asking about had a first name starting w/ 'J' and last name starting w/ 'O'.

I'll see if I can get the info' to open up in our e-mail...BRB...

Okay, I can't see anywhere if the guy is a Doctor. But he is selling videos etc. About Lyme Disease, autoimmune problems ,and parasites

So this is 'J' Otto doing the talks etc., I can't get into the site as I'd like. Our concern is that anyone can mention a known Lyme Dr. ,but is the guy selling the videos and whatever legit...?

If I shouldn't put up the name, please delete it... something seemed off...so if anyone knows if this is valid...please let us know.

Thanks from Silverwolfi and TrekCoord too

Jus' Silverwolfi

I got a link from my local lyme support group to a YouTube video by a Jonathan Otto. It's on autoimmune issues.

I wondered about the man and, so far, this is all I can really find. This may not be the same person but I've found nothing to prove it's not. If so, this would certainly give me pause.

Maybe this will turn out to be someone totally different but a head's up just in case.

This book is basically teaching others what he's apparently good at: how to deceive your audience so you can make more money:

Hi <<<<<Keebler >>>>>,

Looks to be the same person, it seemed odd, and it looks like he just makes money deceiving then.

Thanks, we hadn't found much out either.

Jus' Silverwolfi here, will let TrekC' know!

I've not watched the full video so I can't have any thoughts on this regarding the credibility of the speakers or information.

However, for what it's worth, here's the link my local lyme support group sent out. I see that Jonathan Otto is the host, here, not one of the professional / medical speakers. I don't know how involved he is with this - or who the "experts" are in it, etc. It's looks like some Hollywood production from the start though. Movie quality.

Be careful "signing up" for anything, though. Even if free, our email addresses are currency and it's never good to have one's email address just floating around out there. People make money even from selling it. Marketers can hound our email inboxes forever and ever.

If you don't mind that, you might have one email account that is just for this kind of commerce and potential cold sales ads.

But try to keep it just to an anonymous email address and not give out your name or location.

There are plenty of very credible speakers, both professional experts with degrees and experience as well as some regular people who share what they've learned.

And there is also this cottage industry that may have more flash than substance.

Just never share even your email address until you are sure of the credibility, destination, intent of use, etc.

Here's a different "O" on immune function. Starts SUN. FEB. 25

This piggy backed the previous email from my local lyme support group:

. . . a FREE nine episode online docu-series that starts on February 25th, dealing with Gut Health and Autoimmunity, called

"Betrayal: The Autoimmune Disease Solution They're not telling you", or just "Betrayal" for short. It is being put on by Dr. Tom O'Brien.

In many ways I believe this is the most important Docu-Series or Summit I have shared with you as it is so foundational to health.

. . . It is my belief that diet and lifestyle are foundational to health,

but when dealing with Lyme Disease you still need to address the infection. . . . .

Link to register for the "Betrayal" documentary that begins February 25th:

http://betrayaldocumentary.com/

Betrayal Documentary

Dr. Tom O'Brien is a well know educator on Non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity, and Celiac Disease.

He clearly explains in language anyone can understand, and I like that he backs up all that he shares with research.

Here is a link to a YouTube video from a seminar that Dr. O'Brien gave in May of 2017, so you can get a head start before the documentary begins:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuG_9LH1Bv8

References from talk:

http://thedr.com/svhi/

Lastly, I wanted to share a bit of my own personal experience. My health problems go back to 1970, and a probable Lyme infection, when I developed what was probably a bulls-eye rash, and many of many health issues began.

My health had declined to the point in the early 1990's, I was having a great deal of problems being able to work or function.

Doctors had no answers, so I decided on a whim to go on what would be called today a Paleo Diet, lots of veggies, meat and eggs; but NO grains, or anything out of a can or package.

My decision was based on eating high nutrient dense foods, avoiding additives, and avoiding grains as Celiac Disease was just starting to be talked about.

I also decided to do regular exercise and intermittent fasting. These changes gave me a tremendous turn-around in my health, where I thought I had found my cure.

Unfortunately it only lasted a little less than 10 years, as I was doing nothing to address the infections I did not know about.

It is my belief that diet and lifestyle are foundational to health, but when dealing with Lyme Disease you still need to address the infection.

[End presenter's detail for video lecture set, Dr. Tom O'Brien.]

If he's not an LLMD .. and obviously he is not, then there is no worry about posting his name. He does not have an office and does not treat patients.

Thanks all. I was sent his link but didn't open it. Just wanted to check and see who he was and what he was. I kind of figured he was "left of center" from what I saw.

It just saddens me that people are preyed upon by these type of folk.

The scariest chapter. We used to call this propaganda and manipulation (among other things) .

"Remedies of Distrust" puts a new spin on it.
