Don't they realize that there are many strains of Lyme bacteria and a vaccine would be a crap shoot like the flu vaccine.

Not to mention all the other diseases ticks carry.

I won't be signing up no matter which state offers one.

Thanks for posting Tincup.

It's not too late. . . This bill has not passed.

Here is a link to voice your concerns and stop this madness;

http://assembly.state.ny.us/mem/Angelo-Santabarbara/story/81983

There is a 'contact button' to Assemblymen Angelo Santabarbara who sponsored this bill, along with an endorsement by his area's local pediatrician Dr Govind Rao,

A quote from Dr Govind Rao ;

" In 1972, we gave about 7 immunizations before entering kindergarten. Now we give more than 20 immunizations before entering kindergarten." YIKES !!!!!

Please contact the Assemblymen and educate him on the dangers of a Lyme vaccine. 💚

"It's threatening our communities at this point so we have to take action."

It'll probably partially work like the last vaccine, but I'm sure it'll cause some serious side effects too.

I'm sure what they'll say is, if you got the lyme vaccine and you got bit, but have lyme symptoms, you don't have lyme because you got the vaccine.

I highly doubt it'll be the answer considering there's so many coinfections in the ticks now. They're just desperate to try anything!
