Well, after a long (6 year?) remission and break from treatment, I relapsed and I'm pretty severely ill again.
Maybe I'll get into the details in another post if folks are curious, but for now my question is: What's new? It doesn't seem like the overall landscape of the politics and mystery of this illness has changed much in the time that I've been away.
Some new things I've found:
- There was that lawsuit against the IDSA, which seems like a pretty big deal. (Although I can't find much in the way of updates on it.)
- Dr H (seriously, he published a book, why can't I write his full name...) published a new book containing some new treatment protocols, like using Dapsone for persister bacteria.
What else have I missed?

Sorry you have relapsed. But welcome back.
I don't think a lot is new on treatments because each LLMD seems to have a different approach.
Brussels has some good alternative ideas she has posted and uses.

Welcome back! I'm out of the treatment loop since early 2007. Think that was the last time I was treated. Wish I could help out but I'm sure there's others here that have had recent treatment.

There's a national TBI task force now that's been meeting in Wash DC to come up with some national parameters on dealing with Lyme.
