Hi Everyone,

I just had a tick removed at the ER last night, 4-17-21. Appears to be a deer tick.

It appears he was attached for 2-3 days and he gave me a single dose of DOXY.

Ive had LYME & BART in the past (13 yrs ago) and mostly recovered except for lyme arthritis.

I live in South Jersey, and want to send my tick in to the best lab possible for ID and testing. Anyone know the best lab?

Also, I need a new LLMD,, and I will travel. Someone who is compassionate and doesn't just pump you full of antibiotics.

Am I going to need a 30 day regimen just in case??

Help, Im freaking out. !

Thank you so much for any help..

Lisa

I would definitely get a 30 day regimen. Can’t believe they don’t do that in NJ. You think they would know by now.

Sorry I can’t help with lab or LLMD.

Best wishes.

Thank you.

The hospitals are clueless. I guess I need to find a doc pretty quick.

Im devastated I have to go on antibiotics again, especially after taking them for a total of almost 2 years.

I have no one to blame except myself. Stupid me.

Im so scared.
