I was wondering how many of you are now going without masks or going back to “normal” after your vaccinations.

I read that the vaccines are not as effective in people who are immunocompromised. We are more susceptible because of our inability to fight off disease.

I read that we can’t got back to normal yet and that it’s going to depend on herd immunity. Until then, masks and avoidance.

I know they are thinking about cancer patients and others in this category, but not Lyme disease sufferers, of course.

Doesn’t this apply to us? I want to go back to band but it’s inside a small room, with people blowing and spitting. I want to go back to community theater but it’s similar.

I personally am staying masked in most places unless I know everyone is vaccinated.

I don’t want to spread any germs, even though I am vaccinated.

But, I don’t play in a band or do community theater.

I don’t think all Lyme patients are immune compromised but I know some are.

Also, I know the Delta variant may break through some vaccines.

Just call me “overly cautious.”
