There are thousands of on-line social media sites for the chronically ill patient. So many communities that offer insights, compassion and patient feedbacks.
Here are my favorite informative websites;
My favorite, of coarse, is Dr Richard Horowitz’s Facebook page. He offers links to the latest in research, treatments, TBI conferences and always his unique style sense of humor. https://www.facebook.com/drrichardhorowit
Next would be Dr Daniel Cameron’s Facebook page. He offers case reports of patients with discussions and treatment outcomes. https://www.facebook.com/danielcameronmd
Lyme United by Dr Marty Ross. This is a new endeavor which includes six different spaces for members and Dr. Ross to interact. • Member to Member • Ask Marty Ross, MD Live • Office Hours with Marty Ross, MD • Wins on Wednesdays • Say Hello-Introduce Yourself • Unitees Take Charge Events https://www.treatlyme.net/lymeunited
Bartonella Babe (Sadly, Jake Picker, creator, passed away last week leaving this community devastated. RIP Jake, we will never forget you ♥️)
This would be a great opportunity for others to join in and offer their favorite social media sites!
